Has it really been six months since my last post? Wow. People used to complain if I didn't post. Haven't heard a word. I guess I cried wolf enough you all gave up.
Anyway, we now live in good 'ole Salt Lake. We moved here about 2 months ago. (still trying to sell the house in minnesota--ugh). Since the move, we have had a lot of fun! The kids just finished a session of swim lessons, Brendan was in t-ball, I've been mountain biking, we've been to Malad twice (to visit my grandparents and family), we've been to Cedar City (and happened to have dinner with Pres. Monson while we were there--thanks mike and debi!), I've been to New Jersey for work, we've had some apple cobbler dutch oven style, Melanie and I have been on two dates (yes, without kids!), I took the kids to the zoo (they have a cool giraffe exhibit here) while Melanie went shopping in Park City, we went to the Thunderbirds airshow, the list goes on. Oh yeah, and I've also had the not-so-easy task of starting a new job, in an entirely new industry, which has resulted in some hefty hours in the office. Anyway, I've barely been able to find time to sleep much less blog. I am hoping that things will start to calm down and we can start to get back to a "normal" life, whatever that is.
But I also just remembered that I am running the St. George Marathon in October, which means I have about 16 weeks to get my legs ready. I haven't been able to train yet because my little brother beat me up and hurt my foot about 2 months ago and it is just now feeling 100%. Should be a fun 16 weeks. The hardest part about it, isn't the actual running, it's finding time to train. I either have to get up really early in the morning to run, never see my kids and run after work, or run at night. Still not sure how to go about that.
Anyway, maybe one day in the near future I will post some pictures. Might have to wait until the 4th, when I will be in Boise and might have a spare minute one day.

Redemption
