Anyways onto the actual part of our blog. Christmas 2009. We had a wonderful Christmas. As i've said in past Christmas blogs I love the Christmas season and being with Family. This would also be the first year Kiera and I would have Christmas Morning in our new house.
Chirstmas Eve came and we were in our Typical routine to get ready for the holiday. We both had to work that morning and then it was time to go to my step dads family christmas party. A couple hours before going to the party my Mom called to find out what our plans were for christmas day was. What we originally planned was pretty much what we do every year. We wake up and do Christmas with each other at our house, then we get ready and go to my Moms to do Christmas and have breakfast, then we go to Kieras Families to do Christmas and have Lunch, Then its up to Brigham City to see my Dad and Grandparents, and we end the night at Kieras Grandparents house in Layton. We plan it that way because that works best for everyone. We get to my parents around the same time that my Brother and Sister would be.
This year it wouldn't work out like that though. My mom informed me that Jake and Kelsie both had to work that morning and wouldn't be off tell later in the afternoon to come over. That couldn't work for us because we were planning on being with Kieras family in the afternoon. Oh the Holidays can be so stressful at times. Anyways we tried to figure out a plan when right before leaving for the party Jake texted me saying he had an Idea that might work for most of us. He said we should spend the night at my Moms house then at least me and him could be there together in the morning before he left to work (Kelsie still had to work though). Once again we thought this idea over and tried to decide if we wanted to give up what would be our first Christmas in our first home. Anyways I'll let you know later what we decided.
We had a great time at the Price party this year. Its was really weird to see it so small this year though. Many family members were out of the state and a lot of the older kids are now married and were at there In-Laws. We still had alot of fun though spending time with everyone. After the party we then went to my Moms. We decided to do Jakes Idea and stay the night at there house. We figured we don't have Kids yet so why not. I'm glad we did cause we had a great time hanging out at my parents and teasing around with my little brothers. Me, Jake, and Kieth ran up to my Grandmas house to take some presents up to her and my aunt and had a good time while the Girls stayed home and had some girl time together. Something i'm sure my mom just loved since she only has 1 daughter. It was soon time for bed where me and Kiera slept on the floor near the stairs and was awaken every few hours by my little brothers trying to sneak down stairs to spy on there Christmas.
Now finally you will see some pictures after reading this novel. We had fun christmas morning. Kiera and I took all our presents over (as well as Jake and Kali). It was pretty fun having a big family Christmas morning again.
After getting ready for the day we had breakfast and then we were on our way to Kieras families home for Chirstmas there. They do Christmas a little different from everyone else. They usually don't do it tell later in the afternoon after they have gotton ready for the day an ate breakfast. So we got there before there Christmas had begun. It was fun to watch the excitement in Kieras sublings just like we did earlier with mine. Kiera was even kind enough to suprise me with a big gift at her parents. Something she led me to think I wasn't getting lol. A floor jack for my cars.
After Kieras families we swung home to drop our stuff off and then we went up to Brigham City to go see my Dad and my Grandparents. It was great seeing everyone. I don't see many of my dads side of the family often and lucky enough a couple of them were there. We grabbed some snacks while we were there and Jake and Kali came up after he got off work so it was nice chatting with My dad and the family.
It was then time to head back to Layton for Kieras Grandparents party. They do a Christmas dinner and get together so We had a good time spending the rest of our evening with our loving family.
My Mom's family christmas Part was the following night and we had a lot of fun there as well. With my family its crazy how large the get togethers are getting as the majority of us grand children are grown up and have families of our own. Kinda different from Kieras where she is the oldest and all the grand children are still young. Nevertheless it was still nice to see everyone.
We had a great Christmas this year. As you will see from the final photos below Kiera and I spoiled one another once again (Whats a Limit if its not suppose to be broken lol). Kiera got some new clothes, a new Coat, some Board games, and some other misc girlie things and I got the jack for my cars, some video games, and some clothes. From our parents we got a bunch of misc house stuff.
