Happy Birthday To Me!!!!!!

Over a week ago anyways lol. Wow i'm getting really bad at updating this blog in a timely manner. I really will try to do better.

Well on May 12th I turned 26. I fell so old now and it sucks to be on the downside of my 20's. Kiera keeps teasing me that I will be 30 before we start having kids lol. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Anyways this year I officially realized that birthdays arn't all that exciting anymore as you get older. I was lucky enough to have the day off work. Unfortunatly Kiera wasn't. So for the most part of the day I pretty much slept in late and did a whole lot of nothing. Well I went and got the tires rotated on the Integra so I could race it at Miller Motorsports Park the next day but thats a whole nother story.

When Kiera finally got home she suprised me with a yummy cake, a "birthday card" and also my Birthday presents. I have the bestest wife in the world. Although she couldn't spend the day with me she did all that she could once she was home to make my birthday the best it could be. I love her with all my heart and i'm so greatful that I have her in my life. For my presents she got me a nex Xbox Live subscription (she must really love me to get me that lol) as well as Guitar Hero World Tour for my Xbox and a couple new shirts and flip flops.

After I finished opening presents Kiera and I went to dinner at Wingers. I had been craving there Chicken Sticky Fingers for a while so that hit the spot perfectly. After dinner we went back home and watched most of the Biggest Loser Season Finaly until my Parents came over for Cake and Ice Cream. Unfortunatly we waited tell the last minute to do the cake and ice cream so they were the only ones who could make it but it was nice being able to spend my birthday with my family.

Overall it sucks getting older. We all know that. Gone are the days of big birthday partys and lots of pointless toys. But as I grow older I am reminded of the more important things in life and i'm just happy I have a loving Wife and family and good friends to be around. I don't need any fancy things to be happy. As long as i'm around the people I love.

Congrates to Allen and Suzie!!!!!!!!!

We just wanted to take a moment on our blog to Congratulate our friends Allen and Suzie for the birth of their first child and daughter Karlee Montana Bishop.

Karlee was born on May 7th at the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City. She was a surprise for her parents because she decided to come into this world 5 weeks early. Because she was so early she has been in the NICU since she was born. Hopefully she will get to go home soon.

Today Kiera and I had the privilege to go meet Karlee for the first time and also spend some time with her parents. She is so cute and we look forward to seeing her again and watching her grow. Karlee's dad Allen is one of my closest friends so I'm sure we will see Karlee often.

Anyways Congrats again to Allen and Suzie. You guys know how to make a really cute baby lol.

Our House Warming Party

Well this may be a little late. Only over a week lol. But hey I guess its better late then never. First we'd like to thank those of you who were able to make it out. It was great seeing many of you and spending time with you. Thanks again for coming out and supporting us.

We had our house warming party on Saturday May 2nd and it turned out great. We had a lot of stuff to do to get ready for it but it all turned out great. We got the last decorating in the house done about 5 minutes before the party started. I cooked Cheeseburgers and Hot Dogs on our new grill while Kiera prepared the salads and appetizers we had for the party. I'm guessing I did pretty good on the Burgers and Hot Dogs cause many people said they turned out good. I'm just glad I didn't burn any of them cause that was really my first time using a grill myself lol.

Kiera and I switched off giving our friend and family tours of the house. We still have a lot to do but I think we have the house set up pretty well and it was looking really good. Kiera did a great job getting the house cleaned up nice as I had a joy getting the yard looking good.

In total we had around 45 people who came and went during the 3 hours we did our party. Thanks again to those who came and also to our family members who helped provide food and over all just helped out make our house warming party a great success.

After most everyone left all the Teknik guys and girls stuck around and we had some fun playing Wii and watching old home videos tell late. It was a fun hanging out with them cause its been a while since we all chilled together like that. Some of the guys are pretty good at the Wii Tennis especially the unstopable team of Sean and Suzie.

We had alot of fun putting on this party and hope to do many more this summer and in the years to come. It was great seeing everyone and spending time with loved ones. Everyone was also very curtious and the house was in excelent shape considering how many people we had over. Unfortunatly we forgot to take some pictures when the majority of people were there so the only photos we have were after most everyone left and we played Wii. Anyways enjoy:
