Our Christmas Tree!

I have been looking forward to setting my tree up for such a long time! So on Thanksgiving night we got all our decorations out and I set it all up!
I bought some cute little sparly red twigs to put in my tree last year.

Some cute wire bows that you can bend the way you like them.

A cute wooden Believe block from Tai Pan! This is my favorite word for Christmas time!

My sister made all the bows on my tree! I love the way it turned out!

Christmas Village

Jeff's Grandma has a Cute Christmas Village that she sets up every year. This year Jeff's Sister and I went and helped her set it up!
She painted all of these by hand!

She has three different places that she puts them up in her house! They are so pretty! I love when they are all lit up!

It was a fun night setting these all up! I might have to start collecting a Village now too!

Elder Paz

Called to Serve in the Texas McAllen Mission!
It was Courtney's Farewell last Sunday. He did such a Great job on his talk! I can't believe he is going on his mission.

He had lots of Friends and Family come to hear him speak.

My friend Rachael make really good Sugar cookies so we had her make 7 Dozen Texas shaped Sugar Cookies for his open house. I went over on Friday night and helped her frost all of them like the Texas flag. The little star at the bottom is where he will be serving his mission! It took us quite awhile to frost these but the turned out Super Cute!

Wow, I can't believe how grown up he is. He is the little baby of our family and now he will be gone for 2 years. Courtney has been the little cook for our family we sure are going to miss that!

I'm going to miss having him around all the time. You could always count on Courtney to play games or hang out with you!

This was the night he was set apart as a Missionary!

Here we are at the MTC. Since you don't get to go inside the MTC anymore to drop your Missionary off we hurry and parked our car and ran across the street to get a picture.

I am so Proud of him for deciding to Serve a Mission. I know the people in Texas will blessed by his Service.

We just had to drop him off at the curb. There were other Missionaries waiting to help take his stuff inside. He was very Excited to be going!

Courtney has always been my little buddy. He has the most kindest personality and is such a cute little boy. I really am going to miss him! I know that he will be such a great Missionary! I love you Bud!

We went to the Jon Schmidt concert on Saturday night! I couldn't believe how many people were there!

Jon Schmidt came out with a new song this year called "Love Story, Meets Viva La Vida" It is my favorite song of his! I love it! I love going to his Thanksgiving Point Concert each year. The boys didn't come this year because it was the big BYU game so just the girls went and we had lots of Fun!

What We Have Been Up To!

My little brother Courtney got his Mission Call! He is going to serve in the Texas, McAllen Spanish Speaking Mission! We are so Excited for him! He leaves Oct. 28!

We had a little party for him with Family and Friends and everyone guessed where they thought he would go.

We went to the Real Salt Lake Game! It was a lot of Fun! Jeff has been wanting to go ever since they built the new stadium!

We had really good seats and were glad we got to sit in the shade!

My cute little grandma passed away July 31, 2009
I am really going to miss her! I loved having her here in Provo so we could go and visit her more often.

We drove out to Vernal for the Funeral.

Sadly, my Dad and Luke were in Chile and couldn't make it back in time for the funeral. My Mom spoke at the Funeral and did such a Great job! I am grateful that Families are Forever and I will get to see her again!

Happy Birthday Mom! It was my Mom's Birthday last weekend and we did lots of fun stuff to celebrate! We of course went to Cafe Rio for lunch and then had cake and ice cream later on that night!
Well that is what we have been up to this past month! Jeff starts school tomorrow... I feel a little left out not starting school with everyone. This is my first time since I was five not starting up school in August! But I am very grateful to never have to worry about homework ever again! Jeff is Excited that football season is starting back up and I cant wait for the Fall to come! It is my favorite Season!

Washington D.C.

We just got back from a fun trip to Philadelphia and Washinton D.C. While we were in Philadelphia we went out to Lancaster to the Amish Country. I was amazed that people still live like that today. It was a fun little town.

We took a little horse and buggy ride out in the country to see how the Amish live! I learned so much about them and was glad that we did this!

We also went to a Red Sox game against the Philadelphia Phillies while we were there!

There was a rain delay during that game but luckily after an hour they came back out and finished the game! We were so happy that it didn't get rained out!

While were in Philadelphia we went and saw the Liberty Bell.

Here we are in front of Independence Hall!

There is so much to see and do in Washington D.C. We started off the day by going to Mt. Vernon!

This was the view from the back of Geore Washington's house

During our trip we stopped off and visited some of the Law school's in Philadelphia and D.C. This one is George Town. I loved the building it was so Pretty!

This is Arlington National Cemetary! This probably was one of my favorite places we went! I was amazed at how precise the headstones are. They are perfectly straight.

This is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We were able to see the changing of the Guard. It was a neat experience.

We took a tour of the Capitol while we in D.C.

Here is the Library of Congress!

The Washinton Monument is so Tall!

World War II Monument

The Korean War Monument was pretty Cool

The Lincoln Memorial was one of my Favorite's
Jeff's favorite was the Thomas Jefferson Memorial

I was looking forward to seeing the White House and this is how close we were able to get but still it was so cool! I learned lots while on this trip and am grateful for the opportunity we had to go!
