Rain

Kayla and I went and worked in Portland in June. It rained everyday except for two days which made everything a bit uncomfortable. But overall I really liked Portland. It was so green and beautiful, the city had a lot of character, and the people were friendly and very unique. We made some good friends there- unfortunately, my camera died halfway through the trip, so I didn't get too many pictures.

I was lucky enough to see Walker (a mission buddy of mine) He met up with me a few times and took me to really yummy restaurants and made me laugh constantly- thanks Walker. And yes, this is the only picture I got of us...my camera died right after this shot.

This doughnut shop is famous. I tried the maple bar with bacon on it...not bad

Maltnomah Falls

Norwegian Wood

I went up to the cabin for the 4th of July. It was so great seeing all the cousins- especially Camie and Kenneth. I hadn't seen Camie in forever and it's always so fun to be together again. I spent so many good times with those two in high school- funny how we grow up but still enjoy each other's company so much when we get the chance to. I guess that's something great about being best friends with your cousins

With A Little Help From My Friends

I hitched a ride up to Utah with my Mom and got to visit a few of my best friends. It was fun to see my relatives and stay at Aunt Theresa's for my first time. It was also really fun having lunch with Brandon and our mothers. I spent good times with old friends and new friends and it seems like these trips are never long enough....I'm feeling that my long vacation to Logandale is about over.

I got to hang out with Hayley for a day and we took the girls to the pool. Remi loves the water and Blue pretty much hates it
Garrett joined us after work

Hanging with Sarah and Julie

Brandon let me crash a studio rehearsal session with Ryan Innes- it was pretty awesome to be there. I wasn't able to go to the concert so I was grateful that Brandon let me be his Yoko for the night. I love watching him drum. -You rock Brandon!

Julie invited me up to Sundance where she works and we had lunch on the lift- I tip my hat to Julie for putting up with such a horrid working environment- I guess someone has to do it :)

And I got to take Julie's dog Atlas on a walk....or more like Atlas took me on a walk
