Blue is the colour! It has been 5 days since Chelsea took the trophy.. after Man Utd triumph for 3 years for the EPL title, the trophy is finally back at Stanford Bridge.. It was indeed a stunning closing match played by Chelsea, trashing Wigan 8-0.. :) one trophy in hand now.. FA Cup Final this saturday.. hope they're able to create history by winning the FA Cup too!

the past 2 days had been rather relaxed.. was on course and it is only when i'm on course that i get to reach home before the sun sets.. even managed to catch TLN on tv... and i can almost certainly say tt these 2 episodes are probably the only 2 tt i will get to catch in this repeat telecast.. why didnt they have it during the weekends instead? i'll catch it for sure if i'm at home..

went to watch both SA 2010 live at the venue.. this also gave me the chance to step into RWS for the first time as well.. not bad a place it seems.. probably hope tt one day i will want go there to explore the whole place.. think the red carpet was cool... Godfrey is shuai! Sam too.. gosh.. seems like such close encounters with them.. also kind of brushed shoulders with some other artistes.. Gao Yi Xiang darn friendly.. got to tk pictures with a few artistes, just that didnt manage to catch priscilla unfortunately... Happy for Jeanette that she won top 10..

watching american idol right now... though i could just go to the website to check, i deceded to watch it for myself on ch5.. so glad that Lee got through into the top 3! Hope crystal gets in too but i have a bad feeling tt she will be off this week..

ok, shall just concentrate on watching den off to bed i go i hope.. must charge up for the long day tmr and saturday's work...

haha, i realised that like previous posts i'm still going to start on chelsea.. Chelsea fought real hard and beat Man utd 2-1!! but think that the referee could have fared better.. nonetheless, i'm glad that for this week, we'll be at the top of the table!! 5 more games to the end of the season.. hard to predict who will be the winners.. it is a close fight once again.. hope that chelsea will fight hard for the FA cup too...

wheee.. happy that the new season of ghost whisperer is back!! and some more it's on a saturday.. one of my favourite series.. hee..

just now was talking about blogging with CH.. yes, it's true that it is hard to resist the temptation to write.. this has been the electronic version of diaries.. physical diaries are good in that anytime u feel like writing, u can just tk the book out to write it.. and tat whenever u wan to read, just tk it out... but that takes up physical space.. as for blogs,guess u get to share ur inner thoughts, feelings and latest happenings with people(if there are readers).. when u dun feel like sharing to many ppl but still want pen it down somewhere, we can just create a secret page that only selected ppl can view.. quite glad that i overcomed the inertia to start blogging again after that 8 months break.. hopefully there wont be another 8 months break again...

april fool's day was a quiet one... perhaps when ppl start working and gets tied up while at work, nobody has the time and mood to play any april fool's joke.. however, i was 'fooled' by non-humans instead.. it was hilarious now that i am thinking back.. cos recently my workplace starts putting a bottle of moisturizer beside the alcohol hand rub.. so usually, i will do my hand rub after seeing patient.. cos since the bottles were side by side and both are white bottles, tt day instead of pressing the hand rub, i pressed the moisturizer.. the first thought that came to my mind was that 'when did the transparent liquid become white'.. den i 'woke up' and realised that i squeezed the moisturizer instead!! lol..

the past week, i met my secondary school teacher under the most unexpected situations... not sure if it is a good or bad thing to meet her under such a circumstance but well, we got to catch up and find out how each other are doing now.. i wonder if we really will keep in touch from now on, now that we have each other's contact.. we shall see...

suddenly, mind blank... shall stop blogging now.... probably time for bed...

whee!! last night Chelsea won against aston villa with a stunning 7-1, with 4 goals contributed by frank.. well, one might argue or dismiss his efforts by saying that 2 of the goals are penalties, but not every player can take penalties.. happy for frank, happy for chelsea.. though they trail behind by one point short of man utd in the table right now, there arew still a number of matches and now chelsea has a slightly better goal difference as compared to man utd.. there is stil a crucial match next week which i personally think is prob the title deciding match.. Man utd vs Chelsea.. but somehow, i have a feeling that man utd will win this season again..

went to watch alice in wonderland last monday.. i really loved it.. the characters, the graphics, etc.. after that had a nice walk with ee may from Cathay all the way to my house... walking is really therapeutic.. i just like the feeling of able to see things and think of stuff and if with a good friend, can catch up and spend time together... it felt not bad..

short week ahead by i foresee it to be a busy one... plus lots of things happening recently, makes me even more busy... *trying to convince myself that it'll all be over soon*.. weekend is ending again... sigh... but never mind, with the 7 goals in mind, i shall keep myself motivated and inspired by frank's hard work and make myself work hard too! lol..

1230am.. watching Chelsea match right now.. Leading 1-0, feels great.. Hope it remains that way.. Watched the Man Utd vs Liverpool earlier, diappointed that Liverpool could not maintain the lead in the game.. No doubt that to dent Man Utd's hopes of winning the title, i hope Liverpool win.. But besides that, I will always support Liverpool rather than Man Utd anytime.. Nope, I dont hate Man Utd, just prefer Liverpool..

Went to Social Workers' Day 2010 Symposium and dinner.. It was really a happy event.. Being able to celebrate the professions' day with all fellow social workers, and having seen so many friends as well.. Makes it feel like a big gathering.. So happy to see all my friends at such an event... to more happy social workers' day ahead..

Went for Breaking Bad News course the past Thurday and Friday.. It was the last one that Crystal will be conducting before she leaves for her studies.. Glad that I was a participant in this class cos I really think that she is a good trainer/speaker! Many thought provoking moments and really left alot of questions to be answered about life actually... It is weird that though it is a course on Breaking Bad News, I end up wondering about life... Life is real fragile.. We never know when we will suddenly meet an RTA or brain bleed or get bashed up by other people or just drop dead.. We never know when the above will happen to people around us.. We won't know when bad news have to be broken to us or about us.. Should we prepare for our own death? And when should that start occuring? Really so many questions to ask myself.. Really, i think it's time to do some self-reflection soon.. Maybe to quote a friend's phrase, she is experiencing 'quarter life crisis'.. Perhaps having gone to the same course as me last week, we have all these questions in our heads... I guess it is really true that by learning how to die, we learn how to live.. or is it the other way round? hmmm...

Anyway, those morbid thoughts aside, having gone through that course, I really find breaking bad news not easy! I was often left dumbfounded and with a blank mind.. I am definitely not prepared to do such work! Had role play and was the first time role playing as the client in front of such a big group.. haha, after that session, i am so convinced that I dont have the genes to be a actress.. I suck at role playing, be it being the client or the worker..

finally, going to watch alice in the wonderland tomorrow.. or rather,it is tonight, since it's past midnight now.. hopefully i wont get disappointed! i have heard so much and how good it is from so many ppl so i think that got my expectations up... ok, i shd tone down my expectations instead then...

half time now.. shall go wait for the 2nd half to start.. another monday morning again when i wake up in the morning... i foresee myself to be sleepy when I get back to office... i hope i hope i hope that it will be a good week ahead..

wow... it has been a long 8 months.. another 4 more months and this blog i think could go into archives for good already.. lol..

Many things happened this past 8 months... went to liverpool match, gave presentation to attendees of the PD support group(which was a really nerve wrecking 20 mins), went to Laos to be involved in the diving events at SEA Games(where it was really great experience and a eye opener trip.. made new friends too and tried beer Lao), went to HK for holiday with my family(which reminds me that i've not uploaded the pictures), in the midst of training to become a judge in diving competitions(had a hand in it which is not easy and think i might just not be cut out for it), was part of behind the scenes of the first Singapore Diving Invitation(tiring but fun experience), my grandmother's passing, got a chelsea scarf flown all the way from London Stanford Bridge, attended my close friend's wedding(really very very happy for her to find her other half, and was glad to catch up with a teacher and some friends whom i've not met for ages during the lunch), etc etc etc... i absolute believe that many many other things have happened but having gone 8 months down the road, suddenly asking me to detail out tt 8 months isn't at all that easy for somebody like me who has real short term memory..

actually, i wonder after today, how long later i'll update again.. haha.. well, shall just update this time round and see how.. i think with me not updating for so long... maybe i have chased all readers away.. not that it really matters.. or in fact it doesn't bother me in any way...

had a chill out evening last night... ate at a Jap restaurant at Illuma where the oredering process was interesting and where their service was rather efficient.. after that walked to marina square to watch Dear John.. was a real slow paced movie.. kinda felt guilty for suggesting that movie... but interestingly, i think what i liked most about the movie was the father and son love in the show.. thou the movie was not focused on that part and focused more on the story between the main female and male lead, the father and son love touched me more than the boy-girl one.. u might never realise that the person whom u thought u stopped caring about is actually the person that comes to mind on the brink of death... Oh, and i love the metaphor that a person is a coin!! the movie also reminds me how i love to write letters and the happy feeling when i receive a reply.. till now, i actually do still enjoy doing so but doing it less often now... now thinking if i should read the book.. summary of how the saturday night went: relaxing, stress relieving and definitely great chilling out time, especially after a week of real hectic time at work...

ha, tomorrow is monday again.. tonight will be sleeping late again cos of chelsea match... to a good and smooth week ahead...

the past week was a bad one.. sigh.. was feeling so down for most of the week cos of some cases.. i think it was the most difficult case that i had dealt with since i started work.. sigh.. long story and the story doesnt end with the patient getting discharged.. wonder how long more this case will drag on.. oh well.. hope the coming week will be a better one.. plus with a new system in its pilot stage, it brings up the anxiety and stress level.. adjustment anxiety perhaps..

office room mate was tested to be H1N1 positive.. got the few of us a little paranoid really cos our room is so small, viruses could be still lying around.. but luckily, so far so good, i'm not having any symptoms, but still being very cautious of any little coughs of sneezes i have.. so worried that i will be spreading viruses..

going to watch liverpool vs singapore next week.. haha.. quite a number of my colleagues are going as well but we are going separately, just that we found out that we all have bought tickets.. lol.. it will be interesting.. no doubts about what i will wear that day.. will be wearing a red shirt.. that way, i can be both a Singapore or a liverpool supporter(though in reality i'm not one) that day! haha, cant possibly be wearing a chelsea jersey there right(i dont't have anyway..) and going there to be prepared to get whack by liverpool fans.. anyway, do hope that gerard will be coming.. it will be fun..

I'm so glad that the new soccer season is starting.. it will be an interesting season with all the transfers of players.. it will be exciting to see how man city will manage all their players, how arsenal is going to hang on to their forth placing, how owen will perform in a man utd jersey, and so much more.. hee.. den i can continue to sing blue is the colour.. :)

A new week is starting in less than 2 hours time.. really do hope that it will be a better week than the last one! *bracing myself for a new work week*

we've come to the month of july.. half a year has gone and past.. before we know it, 2010 will come greet us.. thinking back into the last half a year, i can't exactly remember many things.. haha.. needless to say, as a working adult now, i spent most of my days at work.. perhaps the only way to recall some of the interesting events that happened in the first half of the year is to read through my infrequent posts that i have in the past 6 months..

but whatever it is, the last week of June had been eventful.. 26th had a birthday celebration for Jeanette at a chalet.. it was fun being able to watch tv together on a programme that she happened to be scheduled to appear on the same day of the celebration! haha, and the cake smashing and pictionary.. i think it has become one of jeanius' favourite games le.. so many are so good at it now compared to the previous event.. the next day, went to support her at the NETS event that she went for.. the emcee was super on and enthu la.. and helped Jeanius do free publicity.. lol..

den on the last day of June and the first day of July, went to volunteer at AYG's diving event.. i was volunteering as a recoding secretariat.. it is difficult to really explain what i do but it was really a great experience and i hads lots of fun despite the busy stuff we need to do in our preparation.. being able to witness beautiful dives from all the future diving stars, being able rub shoulders (literally) with them and even taking photos with them.. it was so funny that many of us were like going gaga over the boys.. haha.. ooops.. but there were really some who were real cute and good looking.. example the kazakhstan diver, ospan ali and the china diver, wu dong liang.. and we were all also saying that the female diver, liu jiao looks pretty too!! haha.. my sup was funny, she asked why i want to take leave to go do work elsewhere.. lol.. and i think it's a pity that when i mention i volunteered at AYG, they had to ask me back what is AYG.. guess many people dont really bother about AYG which is a pity.. nonetheless, it was really fun being able to be involved in a sport that is not so popular in singapore.. it's cool to know the 'workings' behind a diving competition and also being able to know more friends (though many volunteers were younger than us..).. now really looking forward to more diving events and also definitely YOG!!

it's monday tomorrow.. back to work.. abit sian.. seriously, cant wait for the next weekend to come..
