Em's 1st Birthday

This First Year has flown so fast.  Can we hit the pause button please!?!  Emily is the sweetest baby, so loved by all.  Matthew and Isabel think she is the best baby and tell her so everyday.  They have to kiss and hug her almost as much as I do.  Em lights up when Daddy walks in the door, still her favorite word (mostly only word) is, 'da da'.  She crawls as fast as she can to him.  She still loves mommy's milk but will sneak away Izzies or Matthews chocolate milk.   She will stand all by herself but no steps yet, soon I am sure.  She is my cuddle bug and will pretend to be shy and give hugs.  She is 19 lbs and is in the 25-50 percentile on all her stats.  And she has 7 teeth.  I love this sweet girl so much!

March is the craziest month filled with so many birthdays, anniversaries, and church duties, the first birthday is my Matthew, and he turned 7!  He is such a good boy, I can go on and on, on how sweet, good helper, caring, loving, smart he is.  I am blessed to be his mother.  This past year he has excelled in so many subjects at school.  He reads above his grade level (reads the scriptures with us every night too), he is doing double digit math problems, and writing and spelling well.  If you ask him what his favorite subject in school is, guess what, it is lunch!  He is playing Tball right now and really enjoying it.  He is the tallest and the fastest kid on his team and he is very proud to be the fastest.  He will pass the other kids when running to the next base (when there is a home run)!  It is so fun to watch.  For Spring break we went to Legoland.  It was a really fun trip - the kids loved the rides!  John and I enjoyed spending the time together as a family.

 

John and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary on March 12th.  We take pictures of us every year on our anniversary and put it in a book with what we did and such.  Now that Matthew can take our pictures it starts getting interesting.  One had a finger in it and 3 were fuzzy - but hey - that is life with 3 little ones!  And I wouldn't trade it for anything.  This man by my side is my best friend and I adore him more now than I did when we got married.  I am grateful for our forever marriage and family.  I must have done something right in heaven to get this man - THANK YOU Heavenly Father for guiding us together!
