Batter Up

The day finally came. Hudson got to play baseball!
(Although he  wishes it was "REAL"baseball.)

He played at Andy Adam's Park,
 right near our house.

We sure love that "Little Slugger!"

Thanks anyway Coach, but this kid already knows what he's doing!!
Stand back!

Baseball is his life & his Grandpa couldn't be happier!

Come on Mom, enough with the camera!!

U of U Grad

Useal
Now THIS was an exciting day! Robert graduated from the University of Utah. He completed the Athletic Training program where he worked primarily with the football team, attending practices and games, both home and away. He was a busy boy!

We are so pleased with both Robbie and Darcy as they both worked very hard to get to this point.
Now it's off to St. Augustine, Florida to physical /occupational therapy school!

We're wondering what Robbie's going to wear now that his whole wardrobe consists of Ute attire.
GO UTES!

Happy Birthday Willie

John and I can't seem to get enough of this fascinating city.
Baseball is, of course the constant draw, but each time, we explore uncharted territory.

We walked through some great neighborhoods and admired the homes and yards in the beautiful area of Russian Hill.
(Thinking about purchasing this one. haha)

This time we found 3 great breakfast places. At each place people were lined up outside.
We figured that was a good sign and we were right!
We'd eat so much for breakfast that we wouldn't be hungry till night time even after a whole day of walking the city!

The main reason, and a highlight of this trip, was the Giants game on the night of Willie Mays' 80th birthday.

One of John's most favorite places in the world has to be the Giants baseball stadium in San Fransisco! It keeps changing names and I don't even remember what it's called right now, but it doesn't really matter as long as the Giants play there.
There his is: THE SAY HEY KID!

We took a drive across the Golden Gate to Sausalito and ended up at Muir Beach. John couldn't resist getting in the ocean!

Another fabulous trip to one of our most favorite places!
When shall we go again?

Run to Africa

Darcy and I did a beautiful 5K along the Ogden River to benefit women and children in Africa.
(We try to do our part when we can.)

Darcy ran for two! ( And beat me, as usual.)

Her tummy was sure hungry when she finished.

Our friends, Craig and Erin Halbasch participated with us.
Erin planned on mostly walking but being as competitive as she is, she couldn't stand it and ended up running anyway.

Me and my coach/biggest fan!
Love that girl!

Baby bump that rode along with Darc.

This is my best time so far! Woo hoo!
I even took 2nd place.
(It's great to be in the over 50 category, hehe)

Check these out.

Ewie!

Did a bird fly over because Abby just got bombed!

And she keeps on smiling.
(Oh, the joys of being a parent.)

Benz wants to know what all the commotion is about!
(What a doll! I love that boy!)

Gotta Love That Bunny

HAPPY EASTER, my little bunnies!
Camdyn, #1 bunny

Annistyn, #2 bunny

Hudson, #3 bunny

Haidyn, #4 bunny

Benson, #5 bunny

Bunny #6 is hidding in this tummy!
Can't wait for her to join the egg search some day!

Camdy reaches high for her pink egg.

Purple ones for Annie

Hudsy of course, finds all the blue ones.
He wouldn't have it any other way!

Bunny Brothers

Grandpa encourages the girls on their quest.

Everybody looks for one color egg. Haidy gets yellow.
Uncle Robbie helps her count um up.

Our cute kids are growing like weeds, (or flowers.)

That is one sweet smelling flower.
(Well, most of the time.)

All the kids, big and little, get a work out on the tramp after that Easter egg hunt.

Happy Easter, Family!
