Altered Prima Doll Card

Hey Everyone,
I am on shifts this week, so have a little spare time, so I thought I would let you know about a tutorial that I have found and used with this card.

I bought two Prima Doll stamps and when they arrived I hadnt realised that they were so large! So they have been living in one of my craft drawers, as they are too large to use on my usual cards that I enjoy making. I spotted a turorial on You tube by Scrap maniac, detailing how to re-size the stamped images.
I've included the link at the bottom of the page.

So... here is my card that I created

I coloured her with copics and used the red paper from my own goodies, I also used two pieces of Maja Sofiero Papers, as they are very similar, but have different coloured backgrounds.

The Ideology wording, says "timeless beauty", inside the little vintage style frame, as I really do think of this style of dress as a timeless vintage piece, its just stunning, wouldn't look as good on me though hee hee!

There are some embossed die cut frames on each side and I added a part of a Prima Pearl flourish to compliment the Prima theme.

I hope you like my card and here is the link for Scrap maniac

for some reason, I cant add it as a link, but if you cut and paste it into your search engine, it will bring it up for you.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a fab week!

Pisces Tilda Card

Hello everyone, here is my card that I made using the adorable Pisces Tilda from the New Zodiac Range.

I coloured her with copics and and surrounded the image with gathered organza ribbon, edged with satin ribbon.

I have used lots of lovely die cuts from Magnolia and Spellbinders and the beautiful large Trellis Rose is from Wild orchid, as are most of the other florals.
The gorgeous papers are maja and pion design and I have used a lovely double vellum butterfly that I found on ebay and couldnt resist buying!

I hope that you like my card.

Sakura Tilda Easel Card

Hello Everyone,

I did post this card earlier, but I seem to be experiencing some problems with my blog, mainly my background has disappeared???

I have fixed it now!

I decided to make an easel card to showcase the beautiful frame.

So here is my card that I made earlier with a stunning chipboard frame that I found on line and lovely Sakura Tilda.

She is stamped on Langtons paper and coloured with distress inks, mainly antique linen and spun sugar, mixed with other darker pigments, including worn lipstick & aged mahogany. I have used the central section of the frame to mount the chipboard birthday sentiment, which is from unique crafts.

All the papers are either pion or maja design, with the brown paper from my own stash. I've used some Ideology wording and a distressed bark heart, as I think they compliment the colour scheme really well.

The flowers are from my personal stash with the beaded sprig from The Ribbon Girl.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Aquarius Tilda Card - Zodiac Collection

Hello Everyone,
I hope that your having a great weekend so far,
here is my second creation from the Zodiac Collection.
This time around, I coloured her with distress inks and kept the design simple, which is very difficult for me, as I like fussy cards as a rule!

All four papers are Maja Design and I have layered them with a large Doily and Die cut Doily.
I have included a few sea shells to compliment the Aquarius image too.
The box pleat ribbon is intended to represent water and I bought it from ebay, a great find!!!

I havent added a sentiment but I think it should be a birthday card!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Zodiac Libra Tilda Mothers Day Gift Bag

Hello Everyone,

Well, I have wanted to make a gift bag for a while, so what better time to make a super girly gift bag, than mothers day!

I have probably gone a bit over the top, but I do tend to do that hee hee!

I've use Libra Tilda from the new zodiac collection and added the lovely floral frame and pearl string.

I made a couple of tiny hand made pins which are in the florals in the corners, die cut some leaves and distressed them.
I couldnt resist using the Magnolia bridal bow die cut and I attached two pearl brads through the bag to ensure that the front was securely attached!

I added Ideology "just for you mother" Kraft card wording and stamped a mini tilda onto a Magnolia Tag, that is also distressed.

The papers are Maja Spring Basics and Bazzil card stock, with a very wide dusky pink ribbon around the middle!

I coloured both Tildas with Copics and highted them with Prisma Pencils.

Hope you like it, have a relaxing weekend.

Hugs and Kisses Saturated Canary Card

Hello Everyone,

Here is my saturated canary card

She is called Hugs and Kisses, you can find her here
I coured her with Flex markers and highlighted with prisma pencils.

I finally got up the nerve to use some of the Frantage Fragments, my friend &  Other DT member Sue, practically dared me to use, as I have had them for ages and haven't used them up to now, so there they are! Hee Hee!

I coloured the image around 6 months ago, as I just loved the hair, so I thought that it was high time that she was used!

Ive used three papers, the two center ones are magnolia and the largest layer is from my favourite Maja Sofiero Limited Edition paper.
There is also a double butterfly border and added a jewelled center to a Magnolia Bridal bow die cut. The lace is the center is from Live and Love Crafts too, its just beautiful lace!

Have a Fantastic weekend, I am starting my seed potatoes and adding some raised beds in my garden over the weekend, so I will have grubby fingers, it really needs a good pre-spring tidy up!!!!

Take care, Cuddles Jay xxx

Magnolia Male Themed Dragon Card

Hey everyone,
Well, its almost the weekend and I have made this quick dragon card, as I felt like taking a break form flowers and lace!
I dont make many boys cards, but I enjoyed colouring in this cute dragon, I have made girls cards in the past with the same image, but it was time to use for a boys card!

So here it is:

The image is coloured entirely with copics, in Aqua, Aqua Blue, Frost Blue, Duck Egg Blue & New Colour Ice Ocean!
I heavily distressed the background with a mix of DI in peacock and tumbled glass and run my gold paint pen around the outside to distress the edges a little.

The paper is of course Magnolia and the sentiment is from the same prince and princesses range.

I've a lovely Emerald Green Organza ribbon bow to finish off the design with a tiny bit of blue gingham, match in a little more, there is a little inked up wooden lady bird button in the bottom corner too!

Thank you for taking the time to look today.
Have a fab weekend!

Flat Friends Walkies Card

Hi All,

Hope your week is good so far!
I was looking for some new "no nose" images for my DT with Fashionista Challenge. For those of you who don't know us, we operate a magnolia and more challenge, the more being any no nose girlies!

I found this beautiful image and was immediately drawn to her, as I also have a West Highland White Terrier named Rose, she is a sort of rescue and a real old girl and baby of our house and she certainly loves her walks too hee hee!

I found this image in the Flat Friends Boutique on Etsy the image is called walkies and she is designed by Emma Canning.

So here is my card

I added the little flower over the flower drawn on her shoulder to add a bit of dimension! I also found a little pink scottie dog decotal in my goodies and couldn't resist adding that too!

and here is Rose, doing her best show dog impression!!!

I coloured her with Prisma Pencils and Copics and the papers are from the Maja Sofiero Collection at Live and Love Crafts and the green and pink patterened paper on the top half of the card, are from Magnolia.

Thank you for dropping by, Take Care
