Fret not, when the tears come.
When the tears come, it's because I miss you.
Fret not, I'm not in pain.
I just miss you as the tears come.

Those words, I've listened to them well.
Thank you for all the memories.
I know you will be beside us, always.
So when the tears come, it's because I miss you.

You said that you are okay.
You said that spring will come to you.
So I will believe you.
Because when the tears come, it's because I'm reminded of you.

It's because I miss you.

Always in our hearts

On the 18th of December, I remembered scrolling through twitter, seeing a tweet saying it's the last Monday blue of the year. I laughed at the thought of it then, without realizing that it would be the worse Monday of my life.

Yesterday, we send off one of the brightest star in the world, to the high above. I thought I would cry, but oddly I didn't. Perhaps, it's because I knew you are in better hands now. Jjong ah, I am sorry that it took me some time to find the words to say. You have worked hard. You have done well. Have you found the peace you longed for at that better place? I hope so, because that is all I wished for you. No more pain, no more heartbreaks. Can I take the pearl aqua blue moon that's all over social media as a sign that you found your peace?

Thank you for the nine years together. I will keep them close to my heart with you. It's hurts, but I will let you go with a smile. Rest well now, our angel. I will miss you.

Wanna Be Loved 2017 Singapore Fan Meet (22/09/2017)

#Backlogstrikesagain

Pretty sure if I ever attend any fan meets/concerts again, it will be in notes form LOL.

-We've got good seats because damn, we were smacked right in the middle (meaning we got to see our center Kang the whole night #notcomplaining)

-My eyes kept searching for Ong, tho I tried to keep my eyes on the person talking (it's especially hard when Daniel/Minhyun is talking cause who am I supposed to focus on man???) #fangirlwoes #orfannoona?

-Ong is an idiot and I love him, a lot like a loooottttt.

-Daniel... Is perfect and an idiot too. And I love him too.

-Minhyun, my precious child was probably dazing during the whole show lolololol #whereyoursoulart

-Telepathy moment with Ong (lol) because the when the host asked wanna one what superpower they wanted, and I said teleport haha. And when it's Ong's turn, surprisingly (or not) he said teleport, because he can travel back to sg to see wannables lolol. This digusting cheeseball lololol

-Hi-5 session with boys was too fast for me to feel anything. Surprisingly I was not as jittery about the hi touch as I thought I will be? All I remembered was Minhyun being the first guy, I got to 'touch' Daniel a second longer because someone (probably the staff) pushed me, causing me to push his hand while yelping (was hi-5ing him then), and Ong's welcoming smiling face (he is so damn adorable like a pup I cannot) and he was bending slightly forward like man stop the fan service I will die because I can't stop thinking about your stupid handsome face #Iamdoomed. Now thinking about it, he probably wanted to maintain eye contact with the fans (hence, bending to eye level) oh gosh, how can he be so sweet like doomed, I am definitely doomed and I like him so much that it freaking hurts #saveme

-I need to see them soon again

Okays, it has been long since I got this crazy over a idol group, but I can't help it because these boys wormed their way in my heart. And oh gosh, I can't believe that Ong, this lovable rascal manged to shake my yuboh status in my heart. #Iamsosorry #Istillloveyou #Justthatsomeoneelseissharingnumberonewithyou

Will need to update my sidebar which I will do like when I don't feel too lazy HAHAHAHHA

Ciao~

Perth? Perth. (20/10/2017 to 24/10/2017)

Alright humans (or any souls), I'm here to update my trip to Perth~
It's my third trip to Australia, and first to Perth, despite it being nearer to our sunny island HA.

Anyways, it's a trip planned in the first quarter of the year, AND it's the FIRST trip ever with my lovely companion (cousin), Jessica~ Hahahah. We have talked about travelling together since years ago and finally got our wish this year #achievementunlocked.

20/10/2017 - Friday

Got to the airport on the 19th because our flight was at 12:05 AM, and as usual, no sleep for because damn I forgot how small SQ seats were like tsk. Reached Perth Airport at 5 plus in morning (flight took about 5 hours and a half) with a sunny and windy weather so after getting our stuff like collecting luggage, and getting our optus card because data is very important hahahah, we made our way to our airbnb located in the Perth City via bus. Oh by the way, something interesting is that there's an actual adorable dog that will sniff you and your belongings when going through the custom! I was surprised because it's my first experiencing this hahah, but I'm not sure it will happen to everyone or not.

The journey to our airbnb took less than an hour, and thanks to our lovely host (who unfortunately we didn't manage to meet) we managed to check in as early as 7 plus in the morning~ Our airbnb was situated in the City of Perth, meaning we have the access to the shopping area nearby and also the free CAT buses. It's a great apartment with great location so all in all, it's a great stay for the whole trip~

Our first stop of day after nua-ing in the apartment for a while (HA) was Toastface Grillah, a highly recommended place for grill cheese among travel blogs and likewise. The toast was definitely heavenly as said, but I totally fell for the iced chocolate because that was the bomb - rich creamy chocolate and milk that's not so sweet and overwhelming? Definitely up my alley and the best that I have tried so far.

After our brunch, we walked around London Court and Hay Street before making our way to Watertown, a premium outlet store. I will be honest and say that I am truly disappointed with the outlet store because there's nothing much for me - definitely will not visit again if I am going to Perth again #ImissVegasoutlets. After Watertown, we got back to the city centre, and took a quick food break at Pancakes @ Carillon as both of us were starving. Got one savoury crepe and one sweet pancakes - Farmer's Brunch and Grizzly. Personally I preferred Grizzly, the sweet pancake because it tasted really good with the walnuts, bacon and maple syrup.

Made our way to Twilight Hawkers Market which is just nearby (actually everything is pretty much nearby lol) to get our dinner before heading to Woolworths to get some necessity. I liked the atmosphere at the market, albeit it being smaller that I thought, and Woolworths is like our to go place almost everyday during the trip hahahha. Made our way back (it's was only like 5 plus in the evening or something?) and rest for day hahaha (we totally went to bed at like 10 or 10:30pm hahahha).

21/10/2017 - Saturday

Had breakfast at London Court Cafe before starting the day by going shopping again hahahah. After shopping, we made our way to Perth Zoo. Oh oh, I did something really stupid. I actually forgot to bring the print zoo tickets out until we were half way to the zoo LOL #jokesonme. Fortunately, I did have the soft copy uploaded to drive so thank goodness we managed to get into the zoo hahahaha. The zoo was pretty interesting because the animals are not really caged up (with exceptions to the dangerous ones of course). Maybe because we reached quite late, like an hour plus before closing, there were nothing much to see. Managed to catch a glimpse of the famous Quokka, but it was too far away #sad. I will be sure to visit Rottnest Island to see them next time.

We managed to walked through the whole zoo before it closed #phew, and then made our way to Ciao Italia - another recommended place for foodies. It was a good 20 to 25 minutes walk from the zoo, but it was totally pleasant thanks to the wind to the views along the way #Iwantlivethere. The restaurant was already bursting with people when we reached which was just a half an hour after opening time. Waited for a while before we brought into the diner, and we ordered a pizza to share as the potion was totally no joke. The pasta itself looks like it could feed up to 3 person! And of course we didn't managed to finish the pizza hahahah (da bao back for breakfast the next day). There's always room for desserts so we ordered the highly recommended tiramisu each and it was totally worth the calories. Chef Swift's concoction is still the best (doubt any could ever beat that) though this one is also really good so I will definitely recommend!

Walked another 15 minutes to the bus stop to take the bus back to our airbnb and I was totally prank by the bus driver hahaha. The bus driver jokingly refused to open the bus door for us to board, and was gesturing to himself, so I thought he wanted me to push the door, but it turned out that he was asking if the pizza was for him (was holding the pizza box lol) hahahahhaah. Alighted at the wrong stop because it was too dark #opps, but still a lovely stroll back hahah.

22/10/2017 - Sunday

Spent our day at Fremantle! It was a short 30 minutes train ride from Perth to Fremantle. Started off by getting on to the free CAT to Fremantle Arts Centre where we spent some time looking through the exhibitions. Boarded the CAT bus (which is the very same Chinese driver and he recognized us HAHAHAH) to get to Fremantle Market. Kinda missed our stop so we made our way to the Marine time Museum which we didn't stay too long because we don't really want to pay to see the exhibitions tho it seemed pretty interesting. Walked our way to Fremantle Market where we spent sometime soaking in the atmosphere before heading to San Churros for Churros! Wanted to try San Churros since my last trip to Adelaide (unfortunately can't find it there) so I was excited for it. The churros is really good! I loved it with dark chocolate omg.

Got to Cicerello's while passing by Sky Ride Ferris Wheel, but were too full so we went to the Shipwreck Museum instead. The Shipwreck Museum is actually free, though you can make donations. So we each made a small donation and walked around the museum to educate ourselves hahaha. Oh, at the museum's gift shop I managed to find the Maine Beach Ligurian honey and blood orange hand cream that my family loved - my mom and aunts bought it at Kangaroo Island (where it originated from) and we totally loved the scent! Obviously, people in Australia loved it too because the ones displayed on the shelf were the only ones left - so being a true blue Singaporean, I did my part and sweep all the stocks available for my family HAHAHHAHA

Went back Cicerello where we ordered their famous fish (without the chips), calamari and scallops. Tho the food were mostly fried, it was not as oily as I thought. The fish and calamari were not hot, but the taste was not affected at all! #Stillgood But I have to give kuddos to scallops! I'm not a huge fan of seafood but scallops is always one of my favourite shellfish, and the baked scallops are really fresh! It was baked with some crunchy bits seasoned with spices and it's really yummy. I missed the food now lol. Oh had a nice conversation with a lovely lady because of the hand creams I bought hahahah. See, told you it's popular!

Made our way back to Fremantle market to get some stuff (bought this herbal tea which apparently is truly popular among Singaporeans?) and Coles (before it closed) before heading back to take a train back to our airbnb.

23/10/2017 - Monday

Our last full day in Perth was spent fully with us getting to Kings Park (a truly big park, with glamorous views) for a mini pinic before walking (20 minutes or slightly more) to the Famous Blue Boatshed. Almost wanted to skipped this, but oh wells it was said that without going to the blue boatshed, it seems as if you never been to Perth before lol. There were groups of people waiting to take a picture with the boatshed (because the group that were currently take photos then were taking way too long) so we kind of gave up and took photos without getting near.

Made our way back to airbnb afterwards, but not without dropping by to get the famous Honey cake! I love the cake, tho the price was on the higher side, it is totally worth the price as it's made of fresh ingredients and you can taste the real honey between the layers. After dropping off the cake in airbnb, we made our way to the City of Perth Library because I wanted to take a look at it. Had a short snack break in the library cafe before I explored the fiction section of the library. I really like the environment of the library tho, and I kinda have to stop myself from starting to read a book because I might not be able to stop once I started LOLOL. To be fair, it's a really nice building too! #Ilovelibraries

Did last minute shopping and got our dinner from woolworths before heading back to do some last minute packing. We totally overestimate ourselves because we can't finished the whole chicken that we bought (we had some sushi and takoyaki too).

Check out of the library and made our way to the airport at night because our flight was at 1 AM.

24/10/2017 - Tuesday

Spent the whole flight doing err nothing much except to watch Spiderman: Homecoming and take a quick useless nap before arriving home early in the morning. Spent the rest of my day at home washing my clothes and nua-ing because work starts the next day #sian.

Alrights, this concludes my trip to Perth! It is a very relaxing trip and I really like Australia a lot! The people are really friendly and nice, and the environment is pretty relaxing too. I will definitely visit again, if I have the chance because we couldn't explore much for both of us couldn't drive.

Till next time Perth!

Seoul Short - 31 Aug 2017 to 03 Sep 2017

I am back with another backlog~ LOL.

Anyways, as crazy it may seem like, I did make a trip down to Seoul during the long weekend in September (hence, the title). Well, initially the plan to go Seoul for Boys24 Concert, but unfortunately, the said concert ended in early August, therefore, the initial plan went down in naught lol.

No concert? Shopping trip it is (or was) then!

I can't really remember the exact happenings of during the trip because I'm basically surviving on a sleepy brain right now, but here are some highlights (or not) of the trip lol:

- Had absolutely no intention of getting any albums, but the moment I got into Hottracks, it didn't even take much convincing for me to grab Wanna One's album and pay for it because I'm that freaking weak for them. #Noonahaslotsofsoftspotsforthesebabies

- MANGOSIX FOR LIFE! We totally went in circles to find this particular outlet oh gosh. I won't say I'm totally happy because it doesn't taste as nice as before, but at least it's a cravings satisfied *sad face*

- Teseum Teddy Bear Museum was not bad, kinda fun I guess? Hahahahh

- Line cafe's fries (the normal ones) is so freaking good. #Needmorefries #Regrettednotgettingseconds

- Were stuck in a jam for almost an hour just to get to Banpo Bridge for the night market (usual journey was about 10 mins?), and our uber ride went 2 times the price real quick :X

Okays, I think that's all I can think of hahahahha. On my defense, it's a really short trip so don't expect much lololol.
