Crabbing 2014

We anxiously anticipated the annual family crabbing
trip this year cause Hazel was able to come with us.
We were so excited to show her how it's done
and she loved every minute of it.
We went to the Museum of Flight the day before
and we got to spend some time with my dad.
It was a great weekend with lots of memories made.

I can't get over this picture of Holland and Chester.
The nugget stayed with Berta & Dave and as you
can see, didn't worry about us for a minute.

We took Holl to breakfast on her birthday.
We told her she could pick out any donut she wanted.
Nothing could have prepared her for
how happy she would be.
She ate every sprinkle.
This pic just perfectly captures her birthday joy.

Holland turned 2!

Our little h had her birthday.
Those two years sure went by fast.
She's a spunky and feisty little thing
and we sure love her.

Easter

The girls have loved learning about Easter along with the
activities and traditions that come with this special holiday.
Hazel has asked some thought-provoking questions
about Jesus and His crucifixion. In talking about His
death and Resurrection, she got worried and asked,
"Is Holland going to die?"
It was a parenting moment when you realize
your children understand more than you think they do.

We've also been through a little case of denial
that Holland's just not a baby anymore.
She's been protesting her crib and climbing out,
which has helped us come to terms that she's a big girl now.
As we've gone about this Easter holiday,
we've been reminded how blessed we are to have the
knowledge of the gospel. We are grateful for
The Savior's sacrifices that allow us to be
resurrected and live together as a family one day.

Tappity Tap!

Hazel had her first dance recital.
She has loved every minute of it and watching
her on stage was so fun.

10 Princesses

Grandma put on a Bippity Boppity Boutique
for all her young granddaughters.
It was the highlight of their whole Christmas break.
I have to say,
it was a real highlight for us moms to see it all happen.
Kiari was sick so she couldn't come
but we sure missed her.

Santa

Jolly Old St. Nicholas was a real treat.
Hazel was star struck and Holland, well
you can see how she felt.
Deck the halls!
