Hoppy Easter 2010

We celebrated the Easter Holiday by joining my parents at their church for their Easter service and then headed to their home to spend the day with my sister, brother-n-law and cousins for a delicious Easter dinner, egg hunt and birthday celebration for Addison and Laura. We also had a neighborhood Easter Egg hunt with tons of the neighborhood kids which was put on by the neighborhood social committee the Saturday afternoon before Easter.

Happy 4th Birthday, Addison

Addison celebrated another wonderful year on March 31st. Although birthdays typically last a day or two, we seem to celebrate for about a month. Between the two family's(one being out of town), a friend's birthday party at GRG gymnastics, and her actual birthday dinner (her choice, Applebees), we just wrapped up the parties on Easter. Here are just a few pictures to document the fun!

marco island, florida 2010

I'd first like to apologize to our faithful blog followers. I'm so sorry it has been so long since our last post. I guess our lives are getting busier! I will try harder over the next few months before the birth of baby boy due in May!

Our family enjoyed another fun trip to Marco Island, Fl. We flew out and met Nana and Papa to spend some quality family time at our time share. The girls did great flying, even with the layovers and delays. I've learned that they are super troopers and can adapt to different schedules easier than I had thought. The weather wasn't the best, but we still managed to have a great time together and even swam in the rain and colder temps. (luckily the pool temp was in the 80's and dad was willing to take the girls swimming on the yucky days, thanks J =)). The girls were fish this week and gained a lot of confidence in the pool. We enjoyed a few meals out, played tennis and spent a lot of time looking for shells on the beach. Here are a few pictures to document the trip. We have even better pictures on Nana and Papa's camera, so when they return(they jumped on a cruise after dropping us off at the airport), I may add some more.

(Kennedy was all set if we were to need an emergency water landing)

(Addisons confidence grew in the pool thanks to this life vest and lovely goggles)

Addison's 1st day of preschool

What a morning! I am amazed and thrilled! Addison had a great first day! No tears or even cares as her sister and I walked away from her classroom. I thought for sure we'd all have puffy red eyes as we said our goodbyes...I guess I didn't give her enough credit!=) It was so great to come back a few hours later and see her excitment when I picked her up. She talked about her morning at school the whole way home. Phew! This is going to be such a good experience for her(and me)!

My "baby" at 20 months!

Oh where does the time go? I was just playing around with the camera and took these few great photos of Kennedy. She is growing up so quickly, talking and singing all the time, she's so sweet and is SUPER lovey. Don't get me wrong though...she has her "moments" and fair share of time-outs too. The best moment is when she says "love you", pats her chest, makes a kissing smack sound and lays her head down for bed. Makes our hearts melt! Jason and I both think this age is one of our favorite stages (so far) in our girls lives!
