Once again.. it's time for the monthly updates!!! hahaha.. aiya! nothing much to blog mah.. Rot my X'mas at Tampines becoz the guys in my house enlisted.. so this day is booked for gathering.. but i went on a shopping spree during the weekends sponsored by the PIG!!! hahaha.. bought hmmz.. a simple Guess tee.. just becoz it was on 60% discount.. so that cost me slightly less than SGD$30.. =X bought a short from IPzone.. thinking back abit ex?! also got the most antique version of sonic for my GBA.. i prefer old old games lah.. =X nowadays the queue to enter LV boutique is getting longer and longer.. so lucky for the pig if not.. heehee! =X but ah.. people getting richer?! the queue is darn scary loh.. everyone is getting LV as their X'mas pressie arh?! haha..

On the eve, skipped work without official leave.. so clever right?! =X met up with Xuanz, Shufen and Wenhui.. idol chasing friends.. at IMM to see Zaizai.. haha.. so sianz lah my life.. everyday gaming, combating and working.. need something different.. got his autograph too.. it seems that their fame is dropping terribly.. but that's good.. easier to see them.. no need to queue like siaoz just to get autograph.. =X lolx.. Zaizai had changed alot.. from the quiet type become those lamer type.. haha.. this time round he gave me the feeling of friendliness.. he's the 1st F4 member to write name on CD while autographing.. and it's the full autograph not like last time just "Zai^2" but to me looked like V6 loh.. -.-" seems like this trip down to IMM to support him isn't a wrong choice.. haha..



today.. went to Botak Jones at AMK BLK529 branch for brunch.. hmmz.. nothing to wow about wat.. why so many people said it's nice and has large servings arh? the fish & chip is pathetic? 2 small slices of breaded fish.. -.-" the only good thing to mention is that it's very thinly breaded.. not too thick unlike some western stall.. the salad and fries portion are large.. but not the main.. -.-"



the Cajun chix taste alright to me.. maybe i tasted better Cajun chix than this so this just seems edible to me.. but portion is alright for this.. haha..



Well i would only rate this store just pass loh! hahaha.. i've high expectation for food lah.. =X

Muahaha! I only worked for 4mths and I've signed up for 3 credit cards! lolx.. the person darn good at talking lah.. actually i only want to sign 1 citibank card for that pig to pay his school fee.. end up I signed 2 cards! -.-!! another card is from UOB.. kekez.. but sianz lah.. maybe i'll be out of job soon.. looking for another job now.. my ex-boss left so long already and i yet to go down to look for the new boss.. jia lat lah! so must i must plan my backup choice.. grrr! Pig and I finally have our own joint account.. kekez.. must save up together for downpayment for new house and Yr2009! kekez.. I'm gonna keep the event low profile though.. must still it will cost lots of $! sux lah.. and Ah viz! more badminton sessions.. i need lots of exercise to slim down.. i aim to be around 50kg for the wedding photo shoot leh.. kekez.. =X okiez.. endz!

wahaha! super long never blog already.. =X a little update.. living quite a routine life.. been busy working.. combating.. gaming.. kekez.. now.. with CS installed on my comp.. my cousin will be hooked and i've lesser chance of playing it.. and i've just dl-ed a new game onto psp.. quite fun.. addicted to it.. so even no comp.. i'll be playing my psp.. kekez.. i've bought MapleSEA A-cash for the game.. so inorder to make it worthwhile the more i'll be in game.. so i might be online on msn.. but most of the time it's not me! or i might take very long time to reply.. kekez.. =X

last sunday.. went to MELT at Mandarin Oriental Hotel for dinner buffer.. so ex! i only find that their variety and quality is slightly better than Vienna.. the only thing i find that it's worth paying for is that the 10% service charge.. quite efficient service at the unneccesary aspect.. haha.. coz whenever i leave my chair to take something.. they will fold the napkins.. aiyo.. for that short moment i leave my seat they oso gotta fold.. so funny loh.. when i return they just finish folding and i nid to unfold again.. -.-!! today when i weigh myself.. sad to see.. i've put on some weight becoz of that meal! ahh.. nid to exercise! exercise! ay~ exam period.. viviz busy eating books.. so no one accompany me to combat.. finally her last paper today.. so ah viz welcome back to combat! haha.. yeah yeah~

As for the work aspect.. went for a free staff health screening at NTU medical centre.. blood and urine test came out well.. except that my blood pressure is a little on the lower end of normal range.. the nurse still jokingly asked wether am i too relaxed.. haha.. she don't believe the result so re-take twice.. one automated one manually.. coz that nurse dun believe the figures she saw.. -.-!! and finally concluded after 3 measurements that, indeed, i've a little low blood pressure.. i don't look like eh? hahaha.. hmmz.. my boss last day of work is on tues.. so i'll be transferred to another lab.. sianz.. this boss so slack loh.. i wonder how the new boss will be like.. gave my boss a cheapo-but-don't-look-so-cheapo Parker pen today as a farewell gift.. lolx! which luckily turned out to be what he wanted actually.. becoz it's funny imagine one wearing suits and take out a normal ballpoint pen right?! it's hard to pick a gift which is meaningful.. haha.. he's kinda popular eh? lots of students came visiting his office to send their wishes and farewells.. Daniel Lin why you never come?! so boh sim leh you.. still dare say me chase him away leh.. -.-" haha.. the students must be thinking why his project officer so slack de.. playing psp during office hours.. haha! not only psp actually.. i play MapleSEA too.. =X haha.. anyway my 6th sense tells me that my slacking good old days will end soon.. doom coming ahead.. -.-!! grrr~!

Darren that combat instructor not teaching at AMK Hub liao.. so sadz.. so sadz.. so sadz.. i kinda like him leh.. grrr.. used my 1st powerpack last week.. my PT is Corden.. kekez.. he quite funnny lah.. just simple demo around the gym equip.. nothing much for that hour of PT.. for my height.. i need to lose 3% of fats and gain 3kg of muscle.. -.-" so my weight will not change.. so sadz again.. i wanna hit 4-kg weight range leh.. kekez.. budden hard lah.. haha.. okiez! nothing loh.. endz!

Midnite flight to Tokyo Narita international airport.. 7hours flight journey.. arrive early morning.. but gotta take 1hr bus journey to Haneda domestic airport.. another 1.5hr flight journey to Hokkaido Chitose airport.. half day gone.. -.-!!! had some free time at Tokyo Haneda domestic airport while waiting for connecting flight.. somehow japanese love to package their stuff till nice nice so attractive.. but taste nice or not i dunoe lah.. haha! tried those stuff with samples.. and their samples are in very generous portion.. very nice loh..



first thing upon arrival Hokkaido is lunch! haha.. hungry hungry.. 2pm then can eat.. the seafood here are really large.. look at the scallop and compare to SG pathetic ones.. -.-!!! their melons here are famous and are charged in crazy price range.. 1 melon for something near SGD70 to 100.. and 1 slice is about SGD$3.. but as u can see from the colour.. it's darn blardy sweet! haha..



First and last destination for the day.. Live volcano.. so smelly.. the sulphur smell so strong.. but sulphur is good for skin.. proven by me.. haha.. i was standing in the spring water quite a distant from hot spot so it's not that hot lah.. not that i "si bah" ok.. haha! the view is nice.. but i believe NZ one will be nicer..



First nite stay at hot spring resort.. had the traditional hot spring meal for dinner.. need to wear yukata following their custom.. after dinner we went out to walk around the resort.. the period we visited coincide with their Matsuri festival.. they dance the traditional dance and have fireworks after that.. but not as nice as SG's.. kekez.. so we left halfway to go for the hot spring! thinking that there will be lesser people coz most will be outside viewing fireworks.. who knows it's the opposite! the people are very open about walking around naked in the hot spring area.. once they reached the bath hall.. they start stripping off their yukata inmmediately.. be it there's people around or not.. -.-!! so i can see alot of different "papayas.. watermelons.." and "bushy forest and deforestation" =X ROFL!!! but that's only in the bath hall.. i can't wear spec into the bathroom.. it will fog up.. wear oso cannot see anything right!? =X haha! anyway.. FYI if u ever go jap to soak spring bath.. 1st strip everything off urself! haha.. then go in bathe urself cleanly.. they have shampoos.. conditionals.. body wash provided.. some resort even have makeup remover and toner provided.. after washing up.. bundle hair up in towel to avoid in contact with the spring water.. i dunoe why.. but if u dun follow.. the japs can come and scold u.. that's what the tour guide said.. after short 15mins of soaking.. i started to feel giddy.. haha.. so gotta shoo.. and when i return to hotel.. i check my legs start away.. coz i dun believe spring water really that miracle.. but indeed it is.. just that short soaking.. my cracked ankles now looked so smooth and soft! avoid the hassle of buying those cream and applying them everyday and stuff just to heal it.. budden leh.. now that i return.. and didn't maintain by applying moisturizer.. so it’s starting to crack again.. haha! But one thing for sure is that u’ll sleep very soundly after that.. *grrooorrr*

Everyday gotta wakie at 6am.. -.-!! but the seagulls gave us morning call at 4am!! Grrr!! On the way to the first destination for the day.. the bus stopped by a small sunflower field for us to take photo.. this group of tour people were so flower craze “花痴”.. a bit of flowers also “wah!”.. BTH! First destination.. the Bear range.. kekez.. although very ugly.. but very cute.. They will stand up and wave at you to attract your attention so that you’ll throw them their favorite biscuit.. I only have 1 in hand coz I didn’t buy.. haha! Got it from tour guide.. so I didn’t throw that to them easily.. I took and wave here and there.. after enough fun at one cage.. I shift on to another to wave again.. most of the bears were very hardworking waving around.. till sianz already.. I decided to throw back facing.. and the stupid thing was that it landed straight in face at the lazy ones!! Wah idiotic man.. poor hardworking bears.. haha! =X 守株待兔 really works eh!? -.-!!



Beside the bear range was this Live volcano.. it’s still actively growing in height.. kinda scary eh? Who knows when will it explode while touring.. haha! =X



Next destination is this Elder Village.. just to look at the lifestyle of the olden days and there’re still villagers living there.. and they have 4 bears there too.. bigger than the one at the Bear range.. but they’re lazy.. lying there sleeping.. stupid! And there’s 4 fierce dogs there that look cute.. but in fact they’re brave dogs that dare to bite the bears in their ass.. haha! In the olden days.. hunters bring at least 4 of those dogs into the forest to hunt for bears.. so u can see how fierce and brave were they.. other than that.. is the live snake catching “show”.. not a daily rehearsed show.. somehow someone spotted a water snake near this woman washing her laundry along the lake.. so she went to ask another guy to catch it.. I videoed it.. so no pics! Haha! Anyway it’s a small snake.. not a big deal.. I’ve my first ice cream here.. and I’ve, at least, 1 ice cream everyday here.. kekez..



Lunch for the day.. かになべ　“kani nabe”! lolx! Meaning crab steamboat! Hokkaido somehow I concluded that the attractions are the gigantic crabs and bears.. becoz everywhere have either crab or bear or both on display.. and this restaurant got 1 big crab and big bear on the roof as design..



Although there’re 3 pathetic crabbie legs included in the steamboat.. but coming to Hokkaido of coz gotta eat the actual fresh giant crabbie right?! So u gotta pay for that urself.. luckily this trip have my Ah Kim’s side family.. together with her niece and 2 other gals from the tour group.. we shared a medium-sized crab costing YEN10000 about SGD128!! Haha.. few ways of eating the crab.. but the best way would be steamboat.. to enjoy the actual taste of it original.. for the legs.. they were meant to be eaten in sashimi style.. first time in my life I tried raw crab meat.. so dunoe how to describe the taste.. haha.. anyway i tried 1 leg threw the remaining legs into steamboat.. haha.. scare tummyache..



After lunch.. head for this Sake making factory.. they’ve free Sake tasting after touring around.. but it taste yucky! I felt poisoned after the first sip.. they have a water system that draw spring water to the factory for the Sake making.. the generous factory also have a corner for the folks in this town to collect mineral water for their daily drink.. believe me this taste sweet and you will never taste that in bottled mineral water..



Dinner at Ramen village.. just a short stretch with many Ramen stores.. it’s just a place.. long long ago when population still low.. the Ramen stores started operation on this island.. luckily the place is small or the tour guide will be in trouble.. cost dinner is included in the package.. but we got the option to choose which store to dine in.. so the tour split into many small groups.. and the tour guide gotta settle every one of our orders due to the language barrier.. haha.. u can imagine all the hand sign they can make just to order.. haha! the big bowl of Ramen as expected.. definitely taste nicer than SG.. not only that. The Gyoza taste fantastic.. so darn nice.. 1 person per plate.. my Aunt only took 1.. so I finished hers too.. haha!



Tonight’s hotel is in a city.. so free and easy at night.. but shops here close rather early? 8pm.. nono.. should say we reach the hotel late.. so most shops already closed or closing.. anyway stuff in Japan are expensive.. their people buy branded in SG.. so who will want to buy in Japan?! We walked around look see look see.. lots of branded shop but all looks the same worldwide.. except for Burberry Blue label series which is only made and sell in Japan.. the original Burberry isn’t cheap.. so come Japan don’t buy the wrong Burberry! Haha! Went in their Pachinko too.. something like their jackpot?! But they’ve jackpot in there also.. anyway we dunoe how to play.. a lot of oldies sitting there with tubs and tubs of metal balls.. I think that’s their winnings.. Near the Pachinko store.. there’s a weird looking display from “Howl’s Moving Castle” the movie.. dunoe why it’s there.. anyway movies from Chibi Studio are my favorite.. kekez.. after that we went to get ourselves sundae at Mcdonalds.. haha! They’ve mango and strawberry flavor! SG got strawberry flavor I think!? Definitely not mango! Kekez.. and ah.. their automatic door gotta press to open loh.. stupid us didn’t see and still there to figure out for quite some time.. so throw face.. haha!

the main aim for the whole trip is to see flowers.. so first.. visit sunflower farm.. hmmz.. the period we're touring is just nice the transition from Lavender to sunflower .. so the flowers not fully grown up yet.. still quite shorty.. well grown sunflower can be as tall as 1.5m! since the lead for this stop is sunflower.. of coz must buy something related to it right!? so i got the choco coated sunflower seed.. rofl! i know SG sells that too.. budden leh.. plain sunflower seeds doesn't seems appealing to me leh.. haha.. and the tour guide treat us drink this plum drink.. wah very nice wor.. gassy de..



on the way to the next flower viewing destination.. the driver specially stop by this place for us.. just to see flowers.. haha... seriously i'm going crazy this trip.. while the rest admire the flowers.. i take my beautiful mountain pictures.. haha.. luckily not only the flowers.. i spotted huge pumpkins on the ground.. so i took some pics of the pumpkins too.. but just not the flowers.. lolx! noticed on the way.. along their road have this arrow thingy.. that's for the drivers to be aware of the road edge during the snowy period where snow can be as thick as 2m!



still got lots of large Lavender plantation.. haven't chop off yet.. Farm Tomita is the most famous place to see flowers at Hokkaido.. they have large plots of land alocated for Lavenders and also using different flowers together to "plant" a rainbow..



Heehee.. purple lavender.. purple crumpler bag.. purple tube top! lolx..



of coz not forgetting to try their lavender flavor ice cream.. wah shiok! best..



ended the day with waterfalls 10mins drive from hotel.. 2 waterfalls side by side.. "meteor waterfall" and "milky way waterfall".. weird name?!



tonite's accommodation at hot spring hotel.. another night of hot spring treatment! yeah! yeah! kekez.. this time the hotel even better.. look even more traditional than the previous hot spring hotel.. and their toilet accessory so cute hor?! haha..

Near the hotel.. about 5mins drive.. there's a small mountain.. gotta take gondola up and walk a distance to take chair lift.. best part is the chair lift no safty bar.. haha.. anyway.. it isn't scary becoz it's near the ground.. can hop off to walk and climb back onto the chair lift if u dare.. haha.. Up at the peak.. can see nice continuous mountains range.. and if u're unlucky wild bears too.. haha! bought the cute toilet accessories here also.. funny eh!? why is a toilet accessories found on top of a mountain souvenirs shop.. -.-"





on the way back to the city.. had a stopover at this castle-look-alike place for lunch.. and also ice cream again~! hahaha.. this time the black sesame ice cream was reccommended by the tour guide.. and indeed taste very nice.. basically i think all their ice cream flavors taste very nice leh.. =X haha.. bought cream puffs also.. the display looked delicious.. so you know you know.. haha..



today is a shopping day.. 3 places to shop.. 1st to the "tu chan dian".. well it's jsut a small shop selling lots of Hokkdaido must get stuff without tax and have additional 10% discount.. so thoughtful of the tour guide.. yet they don't get to draw any commissions from the earnings.. bought lots of stuff.. few boxes of Bai se Lian Ren.. some volcanic soil thingy made Shampoo.. Melon poky.. white choco coated dried strawberries.. their tibits are really darn yummy.. must buy if u guys get to go Hokkaido the next time.. the 2nd shopping place is at the clock tower.. minature version of Eiffel tower.. Japan underground is full of malls.. haha.. not surprised to see such big shopping malls.. unlike our citylink.. so lousy.. but as u can guess.. Japanese fashion is way too weird to follow.. so bought nothing~! haha.. the main aim is to get the "Burberry Blue Label" here.. darn cheap.. and only sell in Japan.. the designs are also tailored to the japanese taste.. so i bought a wallet! kekez.. since i have too many bags.. and don't have any proper wallet.. 1st come to mind is to must get a wallet! kekez.. luckily Aunt buy for me.. if cannot buy i will sad si xia.. "Blue berry" wor.. my fav brand.. anyway Aunt bought a sling bag for herself too.. bascially the whole bus of women bought stuff from the Burberry boutique at this shopping stop.. can u imagine how rich they were and how cheap the Burburry is?



so move on to the next shopping place.. this is like our Bugis?! there's large shopping malls linked to the subway and nearby there's a large electronics mall like our SimLim.. tempted to buy the camera there.. but i don't have $! all my spendings sponsored by my Aunt.. haha =X 8.2megapixel with 5X zoom.. hmmz.. $700+? slightly cheaper than SG.. and it's MADE IN JAPAN!!! hahha.. that's my main aim actually.. made in japan not cheena products.. kekez.. And there's a Burberry Black Label boutique here.. new series.. but is for men.. so as expected.. this time the guys bought stuff.. and some richie women continue their 2nd round of buyings here.. so darn rich.. bth! not forgetting their 100yen shop... like the $2 shop but at least better quality.. haha.. didn't buy any stationary nor daily needs stuff.. bought tibits instead.. muahaha!



done with shopping.. now it's time to fix our tummy.. tonite we're having bbq seafood dinner..



and after dinner.. headed to the hotel to unload our luggages.. and time for driver to knock off.. since we're staying in one of the big city in Hokkdaido.. there's lots of night activities out there.. Hotel for the night is located at their "Geylang".. but of coz unlike SG Geylang they're more classy and open about it.. will see lots of sign boards and boards advertising the gers and guys they have.. there're also large screen advertising.. the gers of coz hidden in the club.. their PR wear suits and ties giving out fans with the gers faces printed on.. so cool ah.. haha.. those aunties in the tour dunoe still happily take the fans from the guys.. till tour guide told them it's their way of promoting their gals.. those aunties reaction so funny.. BTH..

Visit to their wet market.. "Er Tiao Shi Chang" -.-!! just a short stretch of shops.. for some others is another place for buying for Hokkaido tibits.. somehow this tour group people always got things to buy where ever they go.. so rich..



the bei se lian ren choco factory look so fairy tale.. castle-like out look.. and inside so grand.. dun look like factory loh.. that place mainly for display i feel.. full of those greek pictures.. and toys collection.. only a small section to view from top on the manufacturing belt.. every hourly there's also music ensemble..



next.. visit to the clarke quay.. unlike our clarke quay.. full of clubs and pubs and wateva.. they preserved the buildings and surroundings totally.. and they even have youngster to pull the trishaw.. just to make the place look more real to the olden time..



Lunch.. "kani nabe" steamboat again.. haha! this time with fresh abalone as the additional side dish.. too bad lah.. i dunoe how to appreciate.. fresh and can abalone still taste rubbery.. haha! live abalone look so ugly.. blackie! totally differ from canned abalone..



weather changed suddenly.. started raining! luckily it's the last 2nd day already.. let us enjoy so many days with the good weather.. so quite ok lah.. just that gotta hold umbrella and not convenient to take photo loh.. at the music box place.. once u step in.. inside really flooded with music box.. can DIY own music too.. but my art F9 lah.. so i only picekd my fav music and fix it onto a base.. and place a crabbie beside since it's one of the famous thing at Hokkaido.. kekez.. sweet and simple.. rofl! bought another simple ready-made music box for accessories.. one thing is that the music box is limited.. so if the music u like no more means no more! -.-!! so i can't get my "Beauty and the Beast" music.. they've lots of "Pinochio".. so no choice loh..



still have a little time.. went over to this cafe house.. where you buy coffee and u can wash the cup and bring them home.. of coz you can also buy the cup itself at slightly lesser cost.. kekez.. so i bought a hello kitty mini cup there.. can't drink coffee.. i'll puke..



Quite an early dinner.. buffet style.. like Seoul garden liddat.. tried cow's liver accidentally =X and found out it actually much more tastier than pig's liver.. =X haha! so i went to get more! haikx! cow eat cow =X haha! but for those who can't take beef.. they didn't even knew it.. but didn't tell them.. if not they will feel very sinful.. anyway.. bu zhi ze wu zui mah.. for dessert.. i made my own cotton candy floss.. haha.. so funny loh.. my cotton candy all tangled up.. can't even twirl onto the stick.. -.-!!

add-on stop not included in the itinery.. so good of the driver and tour guide.. haha.. knowing that the whole bus is full of shopping maniac.. on the way to hotel.. stopped by Rera shopping mall.. it's like their DFO.. all the brandeds in there.. and best thing is that they've sales going on! but only 2hrs to shop.. 3hrs actually.. but till gathering time then we realise they extend another hour for this sales.. too late loh.. everyone gathered on the bus already..



Although hotel is in the city.. but this is only a small suburb.. so the city doesn't really looked like a city.. but no time to shop.. gotta pack all the shopping goodies.. bought too much and luggage too small.. lolx! but no worries! i'm a packing expert! haha.. when i almost finish packing.. i suddenly remembered i haven't buy mama's chewing gums.. lolx.. with all the remaining coins and cash.. i faster run to their 7-11 store to grab some.. haha.. so i gotta re-pack to hide those stuff.. -.-!!!

Last day~! Flying home from Hokkaido transitting at Tokyo.. last chance to shop and buy stuff found only in Hokkaido.. and most importantly the Hokkaido cheesecake!! so yummy!! SG cheesecake seriously lousy to the core after tasting Aussie and now Hokkaido's.. also grabbed.. yes grabbed!.. few boxes of the fries tibits.. hmmz.. it's reported on their news to be Japan no.1 top selling tibits.. and it's always out of stock..

The domestic flight we took from Hokkaido to Tokyo is very unique.. pokemon theme Boeing 747.. everything onboard is about pokemon.. haha.. i even kapo the flight seat paper cover =X





lunch at Narita airport and dinner onboard.. i don't wanna leave Japan~! -.-"

first visit to Fitness first with pig! kekez.. went for the body combat intro and class session.. so fun~! haha.. and i wore the Zhang Shan Wei FC de tee.. "Tong shou tong jiao" and i really tong shou tong jiao alot of times loh.. look so idiot.. Oo.. got free movie tickets from boss.. coz previously he helped A*Star with some stuff.. so in return they gave him movie tickets.. hmmz.. but i don't like to watch movies! haha.. so i think they will be wasted..

wahaha~! for nothing i earn myself a 2GB thumb drive.. today boss asked me whether i have thumb drive or not.. i told him i'm using the 64MB one.. the 1GB i lend to friend.. who knows the next thing is he gave me $50 to go get one at NTU's computer shop.. haha.. and arh.. i realised that NTU's computer shop sell pirated made in cheena thumb drive.. the original "scandisk" brand.. their's "Sandisk".. and the "imation" brand.. their's dunoe wat brand.. but packaging and colour stuff really almost the same.. if never see properly u will think why so cheap for those good brands.. anyway.. the 2GB "Sandisk" thumb drive cost $40.. that's the biggest space i can get with the $50 budget although i can buy over the budget then claim the excess from boss.. haha.. on thinking back it's kinda not worth it becoz it's pirated! and made in cheena.. lolx! .. but it's not my $.. so nvm lah.. i think boss can claim back the $ from his project grant..

Kekez.. i finally bought PSP!! after such long consideration.. lolx.. pink colour de wor~ haha.. since my father strike 4D.. of coz must chop something ex and wanted alot.. some more my bdae this month leh.. advance bdae pressie.. rofl! clever hor.. lalala.. $424 for the psp + 4gb memory + screen protector + casing + 1 game + mod psp.. should be ok?! anyway.. my father pay lah.. nvm so much.. =X *blahz*

Pig's arrival! kekez.. kinda funny.. Starbus counter at melbourne airport close down! rofl! so sway him.. so i gotta call them up to arrange for pickup.. it was already 12+nn when he reach my place.. and winter have short day! so we left with about 4hrs to explore.. and it's a rainy day! so spoiler.. anyway we went walking around and taking the free tourist shutter bus to some atractions..

Bought a daily ticket to travel around further.. went shopping at Beach Road but i guess the sales isn't that great anymore.. so didn't buy anything.. took a alternative route to take tram to Beach Road.. the route will by pass REB (Royal Exhibition Building).. it's one of the attractions in Melbourne and it's also one of the exam hall.. after the shopping we took the free tourist shuttle bus to the World War Memorial place.. as it's recommended by one of the housemate to visit.. but doesn't seem so to me.. anyway these 2 places very little people will visit.. so most of the pics were self-taken..



after having Nandos for late brunch.. we went Docklands to take alook.. it's a newly developed area in Melbourne.. nothing much there.. dining there were mostly fine dining kind.. and the shopping isn't attactive.. took some photos at the port..



went Sofia at Camberwell for dinner with MArtin, Alan and Sughim.. So funny loh that Martin.. gave Sughim and me each a bouquet of flowers.. feel so weird.. anyway it's a thought that count..

Wakie early early earlyn morning at 4am!! becoz the flight to Brisbane is at 8am.. why so early?! other than washing up and breakfast.. we gotta take airport transfer bus for about 50mins journey.. and 1.5hr prior to boarding check-in..



First thing we reach Brisbane is to rent car! kekez.. got a Yaris to drive for the next 3 days.. so nice to drive loh.. and the fuel consumption very low.. 3 days drive.. about 500+km distance i think.. we only used half tank of petrol.. pro hor!? my new aim! Yaris! haha.. =X Cars here drove kinda fast on the freeway.. we hitted 138km/hr and it still seems slow to us.. because other cars were also driving at this speed or faster..



First destination to Superbee to buy honey! there's also a small children section.. on their website look so fun loh.. but in reality so lok kok.. they never maintain properly loh..



LAst destination of the day.. Big KArt Track.. quite ex loh.. AUD$25 for 15mins drive.. I drive till almost puke.. motion sickness.. counter all the turnings at high speed.. although it's only 15mins.. when i'm driving i was wondering when will the 15mins be up.. so darn boring loh.. luckily never take the 30mins package..

yesterday we drove up towards Sunshine coast.. so now we drive down towards Gold Coast.. on the way.. we side track to Glasshouse Mountain to take a look at the sceneries..



Another side track to strawberries farm.. becoz it's not the season.. so we can't harvest them.. so we bought a small punnet of strawberries to enjoy them on the way..



check-in at Trickette Garden.. recommended accomodation by me! if u guys intend to free & easy at Gold Coast.. it's a self-contained apartment.. can stay about 6 pax.. 2 in the room.. 2 outside.. 2 on soft bed.. only AUD$93/nite.. After settle with accomodation and parking.. we went exploring the shopping area.. only a 5mins walk from the lodging to shopping mall.. Hard rock cafe is also nearby..



After exploring the place.. final place the Beach! Beach will will close shop unlike the stores.. haha.. anyway we're just in time for sun set and moon rise.. haha..

That's for the day.. back at the apartment.. something darn hilarious happened.. that pig's plot always kena exposed by me.. lolx! who ask him to keep the ring in the crumpler bag.. he thought that by emptying the bag infront of me and emphasizing on the bag is already empty is safe enough to hide it in there.. he forgotten that he has a very forgetful and loves to dig bag gf.. things told to me a moment ago can be forgotten don't say few days ago loh.. rofl! so while he's switching around with the tv channel.. i was packing the stuff.. only after i confirm the bag is empty myself then will not check through the bag again.. so haha! i saw this white box with "Goldheart" word on it.. before he flew over to Melbourne.. i saw in his inbox with this email regarding diamonds.. and being very imaginative.. i oso imagined that he would proposed during the trip.. haha.. all these lead me to the conclusion that the box contain a ring.. but i never open to see lah.. haha.. anyway too bad lah.. although i like surprises like those that will only happen on TV drama kind.. but i'm not like the character.. see already will pretend never see.. anyway this thought didn't come to my mind either.. so i happily shouted "I found something!!" lolx! exposed him on the spot.. rofl! and is after exposing him then he said that the ring kept in there is to hide it from me or on purpose to let mi pretend that i never see anything.. but he never anticipate that his gf can be very simple minded at times.. so for that whole nite we both were laughing none stop and the exposed plot and his stupidness.. at the same time laughing at my lo-man-tic proposal gone!! so i insisted on having a comedy one instead.. still have to have the 3 basics.. ring + kneel down + ask! lolx.. so I'M ENGAGED~!

wakie kinda late around 9+am.. by the time we return the car it's near 12nn.. supposedly to go Movie world today.. but due to the time.. change of plan to Sea world instead.. Took the themeparks shuttle bus.. it's very convenient here.. shuttle bus to the themeparks door step..



we arrived just in time for a seal/sea lion performance..



After the show we stopped by dolphin nursery to look at the dolphins.. anyway it's just beside the performance lagoon.. heehee.. again very little photos.. video-ed mostly.. we're very lucky as there's a newly born dolphin in the nursery.. newborn dolphins have whiskers! surprising eh? so we get to see that.. but the dolphins swam so fast loh.. alittle hard to notice also lah.. the whiskers will fall off few weeks after birth.. since dolphins are also mammal.. so there's a possibility of seeing the mother feeding the baby.. and the pool will be covered with white patch of milk leaked out..



Along the way to Shark Bay.. pass by Polar Artic.. the 2 bears were very active.. i think they're fighting!? anyway no pics becoz they're moving actively.. i video-ed instead..

Finally i get to see the Shark bay.. there wasn't any Shark bay yet during the previous visit..









Took the Sea world Eye ride.. so scary! so high up!! and it's stuffy.. but the sceneries were nice..



Dolphin Show.. very spectacular.. best dolphin show i ever seen..



after finishing the shows.. now the rides! haha.. log ride again.. =X this time there're 2 type.. 1 is the normal small log ride.. another is the larger more people per boat kind.. we also took cork screw roller coaster..



Near closing hour.. took the last skyway ride back to the exit/entrance.. Beautiful sky isn't it?!

Movie world..

usually that pig will just follow me around.. this time is he who kept saying wanna watch the police stunt show.. miracle eh.. so we headed off to Police Academy to watch the stunt show first thing we reach here.. the show is still as great although i watched before.. heehee.. no picture coz i video-ed the show..

There's night market on every wednesday.. nothing much.. most of the stuff were handicrafts.. there's a store where they make sandwork on the beach and have to pay to take photos.. but i didn't read the sign so i took one.. but the person was joking with me lah.. so i didn't pay.. it's really pro work leh.. gold coast beach is famous for the very fine sand.. must take quite alot of work to build that dragon..

wakie early morning.. head to the train station to purchase Blue Mountain Linked tickets.. the pass for the train ride and explorer bus at Blue Mountain.. free & easy trip without renting car.. anyway it's very convenient.. just take the train to the Katoomba train station and there's a explorer bus station nearby.. hop on and off the bus unlimited time for the day.. had our "anyhow-made-sandwich" breakfast on the train..



the bus driver is also a tour guide.. recommending the ideal tour route tourist should take to see as many sites as possible in the short period of time.. the sceneries there are really nice loh.. especially during sun set..

From the waterfall.. we can either walk back to the bus stop or do some tracking to the next bus stop.. see.. I so hardworking leh.. we walked and not long ago there's small land slide.. so walk at ur own risk! it's just few steps from the start there's this log protruding out obstructing the way.. -.-"



on top of the Linked ticket.. we oso purchased the 3 rides ticket.. it's a triangle thingy.. Skyway to get across then ride the Railway down slope.. and Cable car back up.. the Skyway is scary loh.. so high up.. hanging on a rope.. -.-" budden arh.. inside the gondola i happily running around taking photos.. totally forgot abt the height.. lolx!



Sky Railway ride! self declared the "slow speed roller coaster".. i was wondering why the carriage so flat and the chair design until so weird angle.. like lying down liddat.. till about 5 seconds after moving off.. the sight darken as it enter a tunnel and the track suddenly drop to an acute angle! u know the feeling was like the roller coaster going down the slope but at slightly slower speed and it's so dark that i can't see anything at all.. i thought the sign stating do not leave belongings and INFANTS (haha..) on the chair as it maybe fall off is just there for display.. to me caution sign sometimes doesn't need to follow.. as the track 1st incline in angle.. luckily my action fast.. if not really fly until dunoe where.. then there's a 2nd incline in angle.. making it even steeper.. the whole ride i'm screaming here and there.. and that kelvin hept laughing.. lolx!



Last stop.. the Echo point to look at 3-Sisters



Track down to one of the 3-Sisters.. so scary loh! very steep track + stairs and very high! no choice.. it's a waste if we don't go down.. big sacrifice for the nice sceneries..

Bondi beach trip.. lesson learnt.. be clever.. dun act clever.. -.-" from the map the distance we walked to Sydney opera house seems the same distance to Bondi Beach.. so we were thinking of walking to save the train cost.. end up leh.. we got lost! gotta pay slightly more $ to take bus to the beach.. DOTZ DOTZ DOTZ!

On the way we side track to HRC to buy some souvenirs.. and some of the pics taken along the way..

Day tour to Dandenong, Healsville and Yarravalley.. The driver name is Justin.. haha..

1st stop at Dandenong pinic ground.. feed the wild birds.. the birds like the black seeds.. they very clever.. will sort out the black seeds on our hands to eat the rest sweep to the floor.. I think I'm the only one with very big reaction.. with one hand holding the feeds another hand the camera.. trying to take photo for Kelvin while he's waiting for birds to come.. who knows the bird fly to me 1st.. so scary loh.. i was so shocked i throw everything up.. the poor bird i think tio shock too.. =X nvm.. 2nd try.. this time i'm more prepared.. the birds still not scare of my very big reaction xia.. still dare to come.. so i quickly take pic and try to shoo it off my hands.. fYI i'm not a animal lover.. haha.. that pig more stable.. no reaction.. =X



after the short morning tea breakfast.. the next station is Dandenong Puffing Billy ride.. it's just a old steam train ride from Belgrave station to Menzie Creeks.. that ride was so commercialized that that's a stopover spot of the drivers to stop there and wait for the train to drive pass and they're down there waving at us.. -.-" very funny loh.. and throughout the ride.. we can sit with our legs out.. very nice experience..



Next stop.. Fergusson's Winery to have our lunch.. it's an award winning winery.. that dumb pig go toilet so didn't get to take the roasted beef.. so i gotta share with him.. that dish was an award winning dish but it doesn't taste that great.. there's free flow of wine.. drink till i'm drunk.. haha!



Last destination.. Healesville Sanctuary.. they've all the Aussie animals here.. Dingo.. Koala.. Tasmanian Devil.. Kangaroo.. Possum.. and other animals also..





They also have a set up not long ago.. here.. we can see live operation performed on injured animal if there're any.. so newborns animal..



The time we arrive was just in time for koalas meal time.. some people in the tour group were kinda di siao.. they took eucalytpus leaves from somewhere else and try to tempt the koala to grab it.. it was a very funny scene.. imagine the koala trying to grab and that guy is pulling it away.. end up the koala almost fall off.. lolx!



10JUL2007

Early morning wakie to go for Mcdonald breakfast and rent car coz we're driving to Phillip Island today! kekez.. this time we got Alanti.. no more Getz.. sad.. petrol consumption seems high for this car.. luckily the car rental company never collect the $ in advance.. if not will be limited in cash.. so we drove the car back to CMCII to check-out.. got back bond AUD$900.. but AUD$300 return to XN.. and oso passed her some stuff i can't finish using and instant food.. After that off we drive towards our destination! but! we lost our way.. melbourne city quite hard to drive loh.. -.-" finally found our way up onto the freeway after about an hour of anyhow drive around.. -.-"

On the way.. we drive pass Warook farm.. nothing much.. so we didn't pay for the tour around.. luckily we didn't becoz the Churchill island is oso something liddat.. like a children farm liddat.. budden leh.. as expected i'll start screaming and running around whenever the animals approaches.. haha!



Next stop.. Koala conservation center.. this place unlike the zoo or sanctuary.. the koalas are wild.. we gotta spot them.. there're alot but we only managed to spot some due to the limited time..



we bought the 3 attractions pass.. by the time we reached phillip island is a little late.. I wonder how day tour organize their time.. we set off earlier than them but find that it's kinda rush to complete all the attractions.. Rushing to the next stop.. Noobis Centre.. free entry place.. but becoz we bought the 3 attractions pass have a complimentary seal cam along with it.. so we're here to take a look.. far out on the rock is the home to many many seals.. can't be seen without telescope.. and that seal cam is just cameras installed on that rock for visitor pay-to-watch the seals.. -.-" we've 2 passes.. so we got 2 free caming session.. 1 underwater.. another above water.. nice sceneries too outside the centre..



once the sky turn dark the penguins will start coming on shore to go home.. so we gotta be at the Penguin parade place at about 5.20pm.. but because we're watching wild penguin at their territory no photography or videoing is permitted.. so no pictures! haha.. After the penguin parade.. we gotta drive about 1.5hrs to Rosebud.. and we're at very far out suburb.. no lamp post! on rely on our high beam.. and very little car.. so we did some stunt.. haha..at one point the highest speed was 158km/hr.. haha! Spent our night at Rosebud Admiral motor inn.. still got video tape nowadays.. haha.. anyway it's FOC rental.. although tired i still got 3 tapes from the reception.. but only manage to finish watching Beauty and the Beast.. fall asleep through the Snow white.. haha..



11JUL2007

From Rosebud we drove to Sorrento to take the ferry to cross over to Great OCean Road.. if not we gotta make a big way along the coast to get over to the other side.. We reach the port an hour earlier.. after parking the car the the destinated park slot.. we walk around taking some pics..

On way towards Great Ocean Road.. We had our brunch in the car! haha.. we went to Mcdonalds drive-thru at Torquay.. so fun.. although SG have drive-thru also.. but it's my 1st time mah.. lolx! Stopover a few scenic spot before we start the inland drive.. can see from my face i'm having the car sick problem.. btw great ocean road isn't nice to travel on.. so curvy loh.. especially for me it's a torture!



it was drizzling on and off on the way.. by the time we reached 12 apostles was about 4pm already.. sky starting to turn dark.. and with the dark clouds the sky appear even darker..



After 12 apostles stop is the Blowhole and thunder cave stop..



Last minute stop at this bay place.. can't really see from the picture.. the sky already quite dark by then..



We gotta drive to Portlands for our accomodation for the night.. Clifftop is expensive AUD$140prpn but was well furnished self-contained apartment.. internet is provided too.. not only that.. there's a telescope for whale and dolphin watching.. worth the $ paid.. strongly recommended lodging too! they only have 3 units.. so make sure book early to secure the room!



the night sky were clear and filled with stars.. can even see the milky way.. it's a waste we don't know how to read constellations.. due to the lousy cameras we have.. the night sky can't be captured on photos.. too bad..

driving back Melbourne direction.. the good thing about driving yourself is that on the way we stopped by as and when we like..



we planned to visit Grampians and Ballarat Soverign Hill on our journey back Melbourne.. We're at South Grampians and that doesn't seems nice.. all about Trees.. so we changed our plans and hed straight to Ballarat.. not any better.. nothing much loh.. doesn't worth the $ to enter.. inside is about the gold mining history.. on the picture seems fun.. but then pictures were always edited to look attractive! the horse rides in there still need to pay $ loh.. the show times sort of clashes.. how to see!? and they preserve the olden time mining look.. so the floor were muddy! after raining.. and because of the horse ride.. there were poo poo all over the place! EwwW!!!

After checking out hotel.. we walked back to Franklin Street.. which is darn far! to return the car keys and make payment.. then walk back to CMCII to do last minute packing.. 2 hand carries each about 7kg.. and 3 luggages total of 60kg.. we fully utilize our baggage weight.. =X luckily the person still recognize my 40kg baggage ticket.. if they screw up say 30kg only then i die liao.. so our return trip were smooth sailing.. ordered several alcoholic drinks on board and watched 3 movies.. haha.. cool arh.. enjoying my time.. anyway pay so much air fare don't fully utilize meh! haha! =X
