Mother's day

I love these paper's the kids bring home from school.... hand's down the best gift I always receive! I love how Kason drew me with a crown on my head, I like that I am the princess around here!

Dublan

We're back in Dublan and what better way to kick off the summer than motocross races! Jared got 2nd in Intermediates and took 1st in Veterans (30 and up)! Jamison decided to race and did a great job. We didn't realize that all the other kids had racing motos and jamison just had a slow 4 stroke 50. He got lapped, but he still kept going and finished the race, I was proud! And I forgot just how dirty a little boy can get!

School Play

Jamison was a cheetah in the school play! I thought it was so cool that out of all the schools and classes in el paso he ended up with two colony boys in his class! If I get ambitious I will post the video of his lines later!

Spring sports

Spring brought new sports for the boys. Jamison was dying to try flag football and Kason wanted to try soccer. The first practice I took Kason to, he looked at the kids and said, "I didn't want to play soccer, I wanted to play basketball!" With a little encouragement, I got him out there and he started liking soccer. He had a great coach and he did a great job!

Jamison was on a football team that had been playing together for awhile and was the "new kid". The first game he was very shy and unsure, but after a good pep talk from his dad, he started getting more confident. After a couple of games, he scored his first touchdown and scored at almost every game after that. I was really thankful my kids had an opportunity to participate in sports in El Paso. They learned a lot and we had such a great time watching them!

Grandma

My mom asked me to write something for my grandma's funeral, but i didn't get the message on time. I still wanted to honor and remember my grandma so i want to post this.

I miss you already

I never got to say goodbye

so many childhood memories:

eggs, bacon, all the chocolate milk i could drink,

red dirt milkshakes, porcelian figures,

southern drawl, and fried green tomatos, fried okra,

you were sassy, funny, and said what you thought,

even though sometimes it wasn't always very nice:)

watching E.T. with Kason,

going to the thrift stores,

pretty white hair, lipstick always on,

trying cafe rio, not sure if you liked it too much!

I love and miss you grandma, I wish I could've been around you more

I wish I got to say goodbye

Nacho

Ryder has a book. It is a small bible. He calls it his Jesus book. He tells us stories from this book about Jesus's powers and Jesus's friends. He likes to carry it around a lot. I like it.

Ryder has a friend. His friend's name is nacho. Nacho only speaks spanish. He can only be reached by phone. Ryder calls him frequently. We all love Nacho.

Easter

I didn't take many pictures of easter, but I did get a few at the annual easter hike! It was a beautiful day and maybe one of the first easter picnics that it wasn't extremely windy! It was wonderful to spend easter with family and friends!
