A few days ago the boys woke and and began screaming, "it snowed, it snowed!!" They were so excited they rushed to their rooms and begin putting on their winter coats, gloves, and hats. Then they rushed outside to play in the snow. They have been waiting and even praying for it to snow so they were so excited. It was more like a "light frost" but some had accumulated on the trampoline so they got on there and made snowballs. It was gone by 10 a.m. but they were sure happy about the "first snow."

Christmas Dance
Last night was our annual Grade School Christmas Program. All the classes sing a song and do a dance. It is so much fun to watch, they work really hard and do such a good job! This year's theme was "Christmas around the World" Each class had a different country or region. Jamison's class was spain- they did the matador dance and Kason's class was Hawaii. Kason loved it so much he kept performing his dance for us over and over. He also said "I wish I could go do that dance again, i loved that!" Maybe he will be some sort of performer! Jamison was not happy he had to dance with a girl and his facial expression shows! Here are a few videos and pictures of the night.

Can you guess what this says?
Kason wrote this note to Jamison the other day and it is funny how it is spelled but it is spelled pretty much how it sounds to a 6 year old. Can you guess what it says??

BACK TO REALITY!
We are back home..... no more sleeping in, taking a shower anytime i want, no more people serving ME, no more quiet days roaming shopping malls and hotels, no more date night every night! Needless to say we had so much fun in VEGAS! There was so much to see and do.. we ate a lot, i shopped a lot, and we saw Criss Angel and KA. At the criss angel show we saw david copperfield who was in the audience but better yet, HOLLY MADISON, his girlfriend (formerly hugh hefners girlfriend) as she was in the audience too. We even went swimming and relaxed around the pool. Poor meredith was sick a lot(she just found out she was pregnant) but Jared found a wheelchair that the hotel let us borrow and we pushed her around vegas! Good times, Good friends, Good Food, Good Fun.....

Vegas Vacation
Jared and I are headed off to VEGAS for a late 10 year anniversary celebration! Vegas is where we spent our honeymoon and we haven't been back together since. We have been to the beach a lot so we thought it would be fun to go somewhere exciting with lots of entertainment. (Plus we found good deals on flights and hotels!) I can't wait to get away and THANKS to this wonderful woman....
we can get away without any children for 4 nights! THANK YOU you are WONDERFUL!! We haven't been away without any kids for 1 year and a half so needless to say we are excited. But, as usual have that sad, dooming feeling we always get when we leave our little boys behind.

Bill O'Reilly
About a month ago Meredith was telling me about Bill O'Reilly's new book and how the on the cover was a picture of him as a little boy and that he looked just like Kason. I forgot about it, but last night i saw him on Dave Letterman and I couldn't believe the resemblance! Strange!
I guess this is what Kason will look like when he is old!

Happy Birthday KASON!!!
Kason, you are a special boy. When you were born they heard a heart murmur and kept you in the hospital. It was so sad for me to go home without my little boy. You had tubes up your nose and stuck to your face. Thank goodness you were just fine and we got to take you home a day later. We have loved having you in our lives these 6 years! Happy Birthday!!
Wow I was brave, I invited the whole kindergarten class to the party this year! There are 21 of them but in Mexico it is normal to bring along the whole family (brothers and sisters ) to stay too! (I did not know that) So we had TONS of kids. But I just ordered pizza, had some games, a pinata and cupcakes. Very simple but I am still glad it is over. Also, I will not be doing that again anytime soon!
We played a mummy game, it was so much fun!
I thought these 2 girls did such a good job!
CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love Letters
This has been going on for over a year now, the exchange of heartfelt drawings stuffed in envelopes, hand delivered back and forth. By the looks of this drawing Kason is in love with a curly haired girl! (Too bad they are cousins). So cute, I wanted to keep at least one of these for memories.

Homecoming, Reliving the Glory Days!
This post is for my dear SIL Jamie, i sure wish you were there to relive the glory days, but here are some pics of the fun!
Friday the JSA held their annual homecoming but had no one to play against. They asked the older alumni and of course they were more than happy to play and relive their "glory days" as high school football stars. They rounded up as much gear as they could, they had to tape on knee pads, had mismatched jerseys, and most wore bball shorts but they were ready to go! With no practice at all the "dinosaurs" as the team was so dearly nicknamed went out on the field. They did well and won with a score of 16-13. The young lobos gave them a run for their money but in the end the old men got the best of them. Jared is number 7 and here are some good shots of him in action. He made a 2 point conversion and lots of yardage as the running back. Thanks Laurice for the pictures!
Here is the whole team before the game
Here they come!!! Look at those hot supportive wives!
Jared is the first to rip through the sign
Yeah! go alumni dinosaurs! I think that is cade, danny and jared out in front
Sidelines
Go #7 Go!
Down he goes
Jared gets a fast break - is that what they call it in football????
He almost went all the way with this one but his "old man" legs just couldn't keep up a sprint after 40 yards!
