2011 Year in Review

Wow....I can't believe that 2011 has come and is almost gone. What a year this year has been. We have had many growing experiences as individuals, a couple, and a family.

Janaury-March
These months were filled with A LOT of Aggie basketball. We attended every home game and also made the trek to Las Vegas to watch the Aggies play in the WAC tournament. We certainly enjoy watching the Aggies play and have enjoyed our season tickets this season!

April-June
These 3 months were filled with excitement and travel. In May Jared graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in English with an emphasis in Technical Writing. It was such a great day and most of our family were able to attend and celebrate with us.

We also found out in May that we were expecting. We were so excited to receive this news....Jared even burnt his popcorn :)

In June we made the trek to Texas for our yearly trip. We had a great time. We were able to spend sometime in Jared's mission which was great to see where he spent 2 years of his life. While in Texas we ate Whataburger, visited family, attended a Ranger game, and enjoyed being a way from real life for a while. Although my morning sickness really settled in during our trip we had a great time!

July-September
July was filled with spending time in Morgan, camping trips and spending time with family and friends.
August marked the start of my second year of teaching. It wasn't as nerve racking as my first year. So far it has been a great school year and it makes it even more bearable knowing I will be on maternity leave for 2 months.

In September Jared's younger brother Logan was killed in a tragic accident. It was hard on all of us, but the Fulgham family was able to take this trial and grow together as a family. We will continue to miss Logan, but we will also cherish all our memories we have of him.

The week after the accident Jared and I were able to go in and have the ultrasound done to see what we were having. We were so excited to find out we were expecting a little boy. We can not wait for Brantley Logan to get here and I hope he can carry on his Uncle Logan's legacy.

October-December
October was filled with attending Aggie football games and spending many evenings with our good friends Travis and Brittney.
November and December we spent time with family celebrating the holidays and getting ready for our little boy to arrive.

We have had a great year and we can't wait to see what 2012 has to bring us!

Utah Sate Hey Aggies All the Way!

As many of you know Jared and I....well mostly me.....are HUGE Utah State fans. Last year I had the thought of doing a Utah State Christmas tree. Once we got closer to the holiday season I started thinking more and more about the tree and how I was going to make it a Utah State tree. I am so excited how it turned out, and I think it is the perfect tree for us!

Thanksgiving

Jared and I had a great Thanksgiving. Our break started Wednesday morning and lasted until Sunday evening. We were able to spend the first few days with the Fulgham family in Tremonton. It was nice to be together with everyone. It was the first time we were all together since the funeral and it was good just to sit down and relax with everyone. Nikki announced on Thanksgiving that she is getting ready to turn in her mission papers. We are so excited for her, and so excited to be sending out a missionary in the coming year. We will miss her, but we know she will be a great missionary!
Saturday was the annual Hudman Christmas party. As always it was full of talking to family members and eating a lot of food! Its nice to get together with Jared's aunts, uncles, and MANY cousins. We took time to take a quick family picture for Paul and Tina's Christmas card. It isn't professional by any means, but it is always nice to have pictures to keep memories :)

Sunday we made the trek to Neola for our niece Lily's baby blessing. It was great to spend time with my family and see Clark, Amy and their beautiful little girl Lily. It was a great blessing and a great day spent with family. Even though I didn't enjoy the long car ride I am glad Jared and I took the opportunity to go.
I am excited for the Christmas holiday and to spend even more time with our wonderful families. It is going to be a great holiday season. We will be busy with family activities and getting ready for our little guy to join our family.....ONLY 7 MORE WEEKS!

My Thankful List

As Thanksgiving gets close I find myself thinking about everything that I am thankful for. I have been SO blessed in my life. I would truly be ungrateful if I didn't take the time to recognize all of the blessings in my life.
I am thankful for my wonderful husband. Everyday I am reminded how lucky I am to be married to such a wonderful man. He is a hard worker and has ambition in life. I know he will always provide for our family. He is patient with me and lets me put up our Christmas tree....even if it was 2 weeks BEFORE Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for my family. I was lucky enough to be born into a great family and even more lucky to marry into such a wonderful family. I have parents who love me and take care of me. They support me through all of my decisions in life. I have 5 wonderful siblings and their families who bring so much joy to my life. I know I will never been alone in life because of my siblings. My mother-in-law and father-in-law have welcomed me into their home as one of their own children. I know they will be there for us if we ever need them. I have wondering in-laws who treat me as their sister and have welcomed me into their family.
I am thankful for a roof over my head and for our jobs. I have to remind myself each day for how blessed Jared and I are to have a roof over heads. For the space we have to raise our little boy that will be joining our family in January. Our jobs are HUGE blessings in our lives. We are able to both work full time and I will be able to take 2 months off of work when our little one arrives.
I am thankful for the many friends we have. We have some great friends who would drop anything to help us. I know if I ever need help I can call them up and they will be there in a instant to help me.
I am thankful for an easy pregnancy and for the little boy that will be coming to our family in January. This pregnancy has been really easy on me which has allowed me to keep up in my job and continue to do my best work.
I am thankful for the gospel and my knowledge of the plan of salvation. I know with everything that happened this year was made more bearable by my knowledge of the plan of salvation. Knowing that we will see Logan again and that he is in a better place makes going through the days much easier. I am thankful to be living so close to a temple, even though I should go more often, we are so blessed to live only a few miles from the Logan temple. I am thankful for Christ and for the atonement. I know that Christ died for us and because of that we can live again.
I am hoping that through this holiday season I can keep in mind everything that I am thankful for and remember why we have all of these wonderful blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving!

29 Weeks

Well I am officially 29 weeks! Everything is still going great. For the most part I feel good and have energy. Sleeping is getting a little rough, but I think it is just preparing me for what is coming :)
Yesterday my fantastic friends Britney and Kaleena put on a baby shower for me. Of course I don't have pictures from it, even though I did have my camera with me. We got a good start on what we need for this little guy to get here. He is definitely going to be a spoiled little boy! It was so nice just to sit back and enjoy my family and friends company. We got the crib this week, which made my day when I found out it was in :) I can't wait to start putting his room together!

"Family" Pictures

I figured before this baby comes Jared and I should have one last "family " picture with just us. So our wonderful friend Brittney was kind enough to take a few pictures for us. We didn't take to many, but they turned out great! Here are just a few of the pictures.

25 weeks....15 to go

Wow...I can not believe that I am already 25 weeks! It has flown by and I have a feeling the next 15 weeks are going to fly by. So far this pregnancy has been really easy on me. Once I got past the morning sickness stage I have been feeling great!

This picture was taken last week at 24 weeks. I am not sure where this little guy is hiding out at, but luckily I look pregnant now and I don't just get looks from people trying to figure out if I am pregnant or have just gained weight :).
I am excited to start decorating the nursery. We have the bedding picked out and I am excited to paint the room. I can wait for our little guy to get here.
