Hello 2015!

One of my resolutions this year is to keep track of our family history.  Brantley is at such a fun stage in life and says the funniest things that I want to remember as may moments as I can.  Here is a little update on each of us:

Jared:
Jared is in his last semester of Grad school.  He is currently doing his school internship with Morgan School district.  He will be there until the middle of March.  On March 16th he will start his internship at IMHC in Murray.  We will be working with people who have been in accidents, have had a stroke or anything that effects their swallowing.  He is really excited for that internship to start.  He will graduate the beginning of May and finish up internships on May 21st.  We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and are so excited!

Suzanne:
I am still teaching at Morgan High school as the severe special ed teacher.  My students are wonderful and they definitely make my job worthwhile. I am looking forward to Jared finishing school so I can stay home a little more with Brantley.  I am staying busy with work and keeping up with Brantley and everything that comes with being a mom and wife.

Brantley:
Brantley will be 3 in just a few short weeks.  He is talking so much and says the funniest things.  He loves Mickey Mouse, singing songs and playing basketball.  He is so social and loves to be around people. Brantley loves to building with his legos, play with his train set and his marble track. Brantley has a HUGE vocabulary.  He knows his shapes, colors, can count to 15 and recognize some letters. we have loved having him in our family and he brings us so much joy!

2 years

Our Mr. B is TWO! He is such a fun, loving, sweet, and sometimes a punk of a two year old. He still loves his food, especially if it is french fries or ice cream! He loves to watch Despicable Me, especially the second one.  He watches it at least once a day if not more.  He also loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and will sing along and dance to the songs.  Brantley is also an Aggie fan just like his mom and dad.  Any time a sporting event is on TV we hear "AGGIES! Hey, hey, hey".  Brantley loves his cousins.  He gets so excited when we are around them.  He loves to just run and play and be a wild child. He is talking more and more each day and is starting to say 2 word phrases.  We sure do love this boy and can't imagine our lives without him!

Happy Birthday Mr. B!

18 Months

Our sweet little guy is 18 months old today.  I am not sure where the last year and a half went, but I know it has been great! Brantley has turned into quite the busy body.  This kid never stops.  He barely stops long enough to eat, and that is saying something for Brantley! He still loves his food and would eat all day if we let him.  He is a social kid and loves to be around other kids.  He learns new words each days, he probably has close to 30 words in his vocabulary.  Brantley loves anything that has to do with lights and buckles.  To say he is obsessed with those two things is an understatement.  Most of his days are filled with playing with and pointing out lights and buckles.  Brantley loves to be outside, especially if he is in a swing.  The best part about the swing is he can't go anywhere! Its wonderful!  We can't imagine our lives without Brantley and are so grateful he is in our family.

Brantley loves his cookies!

Sporting his sun glasses.

Swimming with the cousins!  Brantley wasn't too sure about the water at first, but once he got comfortable with it he had a blast!

On Thursday we will be moving out of our townhouse.  We are sad to be leaving our first home, but we are so excited for a next adventure.  I start working in Morgan on August 13th and Jared starts school on August 26th.  So here is to the next chapter in our lives and we hope that it is a great one!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend.  We were able to spend the weekend with most of our family. It is always great to get together.  My family got together on Saturday for family pictures.  The last time we had a family picture was back in 2007.  Since then we have had 2 in-laws and 7 grandchildren join the family.  So it was much needed. Brantley was a champ during the pictures.  He didn't smile, but he didn't cry so I'm not complaining.  After pictures we enjoyed time around the fire and eating s'mores.

I have to say I grew up in a beautiful valley!

Brantley had so much fun with Lilly.  We really wished these guys lived closer than Roosevelt!

I couldn't get enough of this little girl and her "stuck" and "cows"

On Sunday we headed up to Tremonton to spend time with the Fulgham side.  On Memorial Day it was Logan's birthday.  We took balloons to the cemetery to celebrate.  It was extremely windy on Monday, and the balloons lasted maybe 2 minutes before they blew away.  I'm glad I got a picture of the balloons before they blew away.  Happy 21st birthday Logan!

In other news we have some big changes coming to Fulgham family.  Back in April Jared was accepted to the UofU for grad school.  He will be starting there in August.  After we found out he was accepted to the U we have some big decisions to make.  I applied for a job down in Morgan to get us closer to Salt Lake.  So starting in August I will be the Severe Special Ed teacher at Morgan High School.  It will be a major adjustment from teaching preschoolers, but I am excited for the new adventure.  The next 2 years will definitely be busy, but they will be worth it in the long run and will be over before we know it.  We are getting ready to sell our town home and prepare for our move to Morgan.  I am sad to be closing this chapter of our lives, but I am so excited to see what is in store for us with this next chapter.

Brantley keeps learning more and more each day.  He is learning new words weekly and surprises us with how much he knows and and understands.  Can't believe he will be 16 months old this week!

2012

Wow, what a year 2012 was!  It was full of adventure and learning new things.

January- March
The first few months of 2012 were spent waiting for Brantley to arrive and learning how to take care of a newborn.
On January 30 we welcomed Brantley Logan Fulgham into our family.  After waiting 10 days past his due date and after many hours of labor he finally decided to join us at 8lbs and 4 oz.  We were in love with him the moment we saw him.  We loved every inch of his dark hair and and his chubby cheeks.

February we spent most of the time at home loving on Brantley

In March Jared was able to give Brantley a beautiful blessing.  We were joined by all of our family.  It was a wonderful day.

April-June
In April I went back to work part time.  It was nice having something to get up and get ready for each morning.  It was nice to be back and see all of my students. During April I also interviewed for a job with the Up to 3 program.  I always wanted to work for Up to 3, but it never worked out.  Finally I was  to apply and interview to work for the program.  This job was perfect for our little family.  Its not as stressful as working at the school and it is only part time.  I was so excited when I got the phone call offering me the job

In May I started my job with Up to 3.  Jared's sister Nikki also left to serve a mission in Long Beach California.  She is doing a great job and is loving every minute of it.  Jared also decided to further his education and study Speech Language Pathology.  He has been taking online classes since May and will be finishing them up this coming May.  He is applying for grad school and could be starting that as soon as June

In June we made the trip to Texas.  It was so much fun to introduce Brantley to the Texas family.  He was so good on the trip and it was nice to get away for a couple of weeks.

July-September
July we spent time with family and friends enjoying the July 4th and 24th holidays
In September we were able to go to the Brigham City temple open house with the Fulgham family.  It was a great way to remember  Logan.

October-December
October was spent attending USU football games and enjoying general conference with family

In November we attended more USU football games and USU basketball started up....I think we maybe be obsessed, but we certainly enjoy it!

In December Jared and I may the trip to Boise to cheer the Aggies in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.  It was a great game the the Aggies came out on top.  We were able to sit by friends and family and had a great time.

2012 was a great adventure and I think 2013 is going to  be even better!

11 Months!

Where did Decemeber go? Better yet where did 2012 go? It seems like just yesterday it was 2011. This past month was a great one.  We spend a lot of time with family and enjoyed many Aggie basketball games.  Mr. Brantley has learned so much this past month.  He will cruise around furniture and even transfer from one piece to another as long as they aren't too far apart.  We have caught him standing and not holding on to anything quite a few times. I just don't think he realizes he is doing it. He is babbling and jabbering even more.  He finally said "mama" this month, although it wasn't directed towards me and he doesn't quite yet have the comprehension to know I'm mama, it made me happy. He now has 9 teeth.  He's 7th one (on the bottom) broke through last week.  I noticed he has two more coming through on the top in the back. (maybe that is why he was a terrible sleeper last night).  He gets into EVERYTHING!  There isn't much that will slow him down.  He loves the stairs and does pretty well I getting up them.  We have to have a gate at the bottom and the top of the stairs.  Those few times when we don't have the gate up at the bottom and he makes it to the stairs he will start giggling and will start to climb the stairs as fast as he can.  He has started to play "tag" with us too.  When we act like we are going to get him he will squeal and crawl away as fast as he can.  He is getting quite the little personality and I love it.

This past Saturday we went to Temple Square with Fulgham family.  Poor Brantley was tuckered out.  The gloves were in attempt to keep his hands warm and he couldn't pull them off.
