Every 2 years...

I guess since it's been two years, I could find a moment to post something.  Not much has been going on.  We are pretty busy with four kids.  I can't wait for Krista to move home this summer.  I'm sad that Kourtney will be leaving this summer/fall for Dustin's medical school.  Can't wait to see Baby Tew and Baby Matthews! 

Puerto Rican Monday

I've decided to make a Puerto Rican dish every Monday to get us even more excited about our trip. This week we had Arroz con Pollo.  It was really good!  We used a recipe that was based on the one featured on Throwdown with Bobby Flay.  The recipe is on recipezaar, recipe #315833.  I didn't put the beer in it though!  I just substituted water.  I used Goya sofrito in a jar instead of making the sofrito. I also added a little extra olive oil.  It was more work than what I usually put into dinner, but it was fun to make.

Just an update on life....Emrie is now 1!  She is walking and saying a few words.  Her favorite word is MORE.  Kayt has lost two teeth. She is in kindergarten and 6 going on 16.  Ezra is 5 and in preschool.  He is already reading. 

And Kourtney...is a crazy woman.

New Job

I got a new job.  I'm now working for a place in Oregon.  I got laid off from my last job.  They moved some accounts overseas and got rid of a bunch of American employees.  Anyway, it's been good so far.  I've been doing cardiology and family practice notes.

Getting my hair done today. I'm getting highlights. It'll be nice to have a change. Now I just need to lose like 30 lbs.

Need to buy diapers

I ran out of diapers and Emrie is in a messy one. I need to type too.
