I can't believe it has been since March that i last blogged. I have no excuse other then the fact that i just didn't want to. Life has been busy!! the boys are back in school and i just got done with my CNA course at DATC. I am going to start my pre- recs I'm hoping in the spring. Benson is SO big and talks like crazy!!! I love my boys so much!!! i will try and update more often.

March Madness

No this post is not about Basketball. March is such a busy month for the Mattson clan, on March 10th was Jared and I's 11th Wedding Anniversary, and this year we went to Jhonson's mill B&B for a night of relaxation and then spent the day shopping in Park City. We had a great time, i forgot to take my camera so i don't have any pictures of the B&B, but it was so beautiful, i would love to go back late summer and walk around the property. It has 25 acres of land with ponds that you can just walk around. Then on March 6th was Parker's 10th birthday!! i can not believe how fast he is growing up, i am so proud of the young man he is becoming. He is such a joy to be around. while Jared and I where gone for our Anniversary he helped my Mom take care of his little brothers, he changed Benson's diaper and got him in his jammies and helped get him to bed. I am truly amazed every day what an AMAZING son he is!!! Then on March 12th Or little Benson turned 2!!! Benson is such a smart little man, he talks like crazy and he is SO busy all the time. He loves horses more than anything right now, he always has at least 2 horse with him at all times and he loves any movie with horses. ( except black beauty, the horse dose not fun enough) He loves the Spirit and the man from snowy river. He is truly a joy and we are so blessed to have these amazing boys in our family:) plus we have Austin too:)

Valentines Day

So this Valentines day was one of my best so far! We have had some really good things come our way and feel truly grateful. Fist Jared got a new job!! we are very excited for this blessing:) He is working for a company called Bard Access, he is liking it so far and is excited for what may come. Jared made it so that his last day was the Thursday before Valentines day so we went out for lunch on Friday to celebrate or Valentine's day. We had a babysitter lined up so that we could go just the two of us, but Jared really wanted to bring Benson along with us ( i love how much he loves his kids) So Benson came on our date with us and we had a great time. On Valentines day i decided to make a fancy dinner for my family. I called my sister Treasure for some main course idea's and she suggested Lobster tail. I have never had lobster but it sounded good so that is what i made, and it was really good. I also made twice backed potatoes and steamed veggies and for dessert, Chocolate covered strawberries. I was busy all day trying to get everything done so that when Jared got home we could just eat and then relax. Well that did not happen, dinner was late getting done and so we had to rush eating because i had to take Austin to his hip hop class. But all in all it was a great day and i am so thankful for my beautiful family. They are truly the loves of my life.

Austin's 7th Birthday

I asked Austin for like a week what kind of cake he wanted. He just kept saying i don't know ( he dose not really even like cake or ice cream anyways, weird i know) So the day before his birthday he said an Indiana Jones cake. Well i am no Ace of Cake so this is what Parker and I came up with the day of. Austin was so happy and that is all i cared about.

Austin, you are turly one of a kind. You have made our lives AMAZING! You are such a careing boy and have nothing but compashion for others. You make us laugh and smile every day. I am so proud to be able to call myself your Mom. I hope that you continute to choose the right and stay true to what you believe. You are such a good helper and a great little and big brother, i know that your brothers love you so much! You are such a joy to be around and are loved by all those that meet you. You have a very contagious smile and bring joy to your family. Austin we love you so so much, Thank you for picking us to be your family:)
