Trip to Goblin Valley and San Rafael Swell

We took a trip to Goblin Valley and the San Rafael Swell this past weekend and the boys and I hiked our first slot canyon- Ding and Dang. Everyone we passed thought we were crazy for bringing our kids, and we probably were, but it was a lot of fun.
The child hand off. Poor Dan and Tim were especially exhausted after the hike because they did most of the heavy lifting.

Dan on cloud nine.
Brad figured out how he was going to get down this one by himself and wanted to do it all by himself by sliding on his bum. I thought it was pretty smart.
The view on the drive home.
Looking for ladybugs.
Goblin Valley. Brad with cousin Maya. We all played hide and seek in the hoodoos.

When we got home we asked the boys what their favorite part of the trip was and they said playing in the dirt with their dump trucks. :)

This is the only suspension bridge in the state of Utah and a perfect Kodak moment.

Maybe not the best picture, but it made me laugh out loud

Easter Weekend

Saturday the boys got to meet the Easter Bunny at Great-grandma Brown's Easter egg hunt. They love life size characters. They were so excited to shake the bunny's hand and Brad even gave him a hug and a kiss. I'd really like to take them to Disneyland, if only my husband got as excited thinking about it as I do...

The annual Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Ogilvie's house on Easter Sunday. Brad was very concerned about what color he got and only wanted to find certain colors, he'd walk right past an egg if he didn't want that color.
They both were very animated.
This is just a pic of me since I haven't made an appearance in the blog for awhile and this one turned out pretty good- thanks Dan.
We died some eggs on Thursday and turned them into...
Monsters!
The boys always seems to be cutest after having a obnoxious day.
