Who Am I?

Do you know which one I am?  I am super sweet and love to sit on laps to read stories.  I insist on continuity, I don't like to go a different route on our bike rides.  In the last two weeks I decided to start talking and am doing quite well.  I am an especially good helper.
Do you know who I am?  I am a bit of a flirt.  I have so much energy that I can't sit still for very long and have to leave sacrament meeting halfway through to go for walks.  I insist on at least attempting to dress myself.  My favorite thing to play with is my race cars on their track.  I look different from my brother because I have a dimple, a birthmark on my arm, and a patch of white hair.

Kudos to Me and my 10 lb Bag of Potatos

On May 16th I ran the Famous Potato Marathon in Boise.  I went in with low expectations which helped make for a positive experience.  I came in first in my age division with a time of 3:51:37; there were only seven in my division (only 114 marathoners total), but that still means I won a 10 pound bag of potatos.  I was hoping for under four hours, so I was happy.  Having half marathoners to race with helped quite a bit.
After the race, the boys were digging my food.  They also had a potato bar, but after a long run- yuck!   Knowing I'd get this great picture was my motivation the last several miles.
Thanks to Robby for letting us borrow here DVD and headphones.  Brad especially loved watching Cars along the way.  We stayed with Nancy and Jonathan and had a great time visiting- Thanks for the hospitality.

It's Terrific to Be Two, Especially when there's Two of You

Go Wolverines

Yes, I did have to look up what Michigan's mascot is.  Thanks for the B-day gift Uncle Scott and Aunt Katie.

Photo Shoot

We found a great new photographer: Photo by Emilie.  She took this picture and more are yet to come.  She unfortunately lost half of our photo shoot, but is making it up to us.   So, we got a free preview and learned that I need to iron my skirt better.  Dan took the news surprisingly well.  Now that we know what we're going to wear, the hard part is all over: I wish that I was stylish but try as I might and many episodes of "What Not To Wear" I am not anywhere close.

Moab Trip

On a walk with Grandpa.
Dan's sister invited us to join them on a weekend trip to Moab this past week.  We all had a good time, but the boys were in heaven: they didn't get in trouble for getting dirty, there were trucks, motorcycles, ATVs all around, and they could play with their cousins.  They especially liked the backpack carriers this year.
We came back from lunch to find that our tent had blown away and most all our gear was wet.  The boys were still having a great time so we decided to try and dry stuff out and stay.  The weather cleared up and we all were able to stay.  This is Maya chasing after our tent.
Too cute.
All the cousins went hunting for rocks and Maya made this pretty design.
Seth had to take a quick rest in the dirt.  All the playing was tiring him out.
