Hooray for Warmer Weather

We've gone to the park three times this week after a winter hiatus and the boys love it!!!
It's more fun to take them now that they can climb up the equipment by themselves and Seth even goes down the big slide.
Sometimes I forget how spectacular the mountains are until I'm looking at them on a photograph.  The boys wanted to sit in the big boys swings even though they couldn't swing in them.

Out With the Baby Gear

So, I'm on a kick to be done with baby gear and fully embrace toddlerhood.  I officially reached my limit on number of times I can clean a highchair tray and packed them up.  We now have family dinner with the boys in booster seats.  I feel like we could be in a Walmart commercial now when we eat.

I also put away the cribs and got toddler beds.  So far Brad hasn't needed to be rocked to sleep the last few nights, but I do have to stay in there to make sure they stay in their beds.  I'm starting to wonder if he's afraid of heights because he hated the crib but goes to bed no problem in his new bed. They like their race car sheets as well; they've watched Disney's Cars everyday for the past week.

I wanted to be done with diapers as well, but as was probably expected it was a bit too soon.  I also got the stomach flu this weekend and monopolized all facilities, but Seth did come get us to go when we got home from church today, so there may still be something to work with.

Big Boys

I feel like we have completely entered toddlerhood.  The boys still like to play with silverware, but look how organized Seth is becoming.
I cleaned out the fridge the other day and learned that I no longer need to buy toys.
So, I decided to attempt potty training.  Wednesday was our first day.  I'm still undecided if this is a good idea but figured I couldn't quit after just one day.  These matchbox cars are the motivation for getting some pee in the potty.  Seth was having a breakdown all morning until he got a car.
Watching Disney's Cars.  They are big fans of anything with a motor.  Note, none of the above measures worked but the boys enjoyed not wearing pants most of the day.
Best friends.
