Monkey See Monkey Do

The boys want to be good helpers, and sometimes they actually are.
We have shelves for the basement so now my food storage has moved downstairs and the pantry is much easier to access, especially for Seth who likes to rearrange things.
Both the boys are obsessed with the broom and Swiffer.
You have to be quick around our house.  I didn't get to my empty yogurt carton in time and Seth tried to eat it just like me.  If imitation is the ultimate form of flattery then I am swimming in it. :)

Daily Happenings

The other morning the boys climbed up together to enjoy a morning sippy cup of milk.
Rough housing on the ottoman
Dan put socks on his hands for a puppet and the boys thought it was hilarious and wanted to join in.
Future virtuosos
Yummy cookie.  They love junk food, especially chips.

Welcome Ellie

Welcome to the family cousin Ellie!  I have quick reflexes to be able to take this picture because about 1 second later Seth tried to push Ellie off of Dan's lap.

The day Dan's sister Robby went in to deliver Ellie I watched her two girls Maya and Sophie.  It was a busy day of play.
When they weren't playing with the ball, slide, chalk, or other toys, Maya was pretending to give flu shots.  She has a great imagination and had just been there when I gave her mom and grandma their flu shots in the pharmacy.  Their poor stuffed bear had one sore arm by the end of the day, but great immunity to influenza!
The girls came over on a Tuesday, a day I work, but Dan so graciously offered to work my shift so that I could stay home and take care of the messes.
We went to the park and made quite the scene with all five of us holding hands as we made our way across the parking lot.

Hats and Mittens

Seth loves his hat and mittens, or at least he does for the first five minutes.

Trip to Omaha

We flew to Omaha for the weekend to visit our friends the Kellers and everyone else we still know in Omaha.  We actually stayed in our old place which is currently empty; we kept expecting to see our furniture and were weirded out when it wasn't there.  We had a great time and the boys had a blast having so many other boys around to play with them.  A big thank you to the Kellers for showing us such a good time, we miss you!
Wynn teaching the boys how to teeter-totter
We got to ride horses with some of the Kellers friends who have some property in Iowa.  Here is Brad being our cowboy.
Teri showing Janet and Seth the ropes.
Our little guys: Crew, Brad, and Seth
We went to the zoo and were a bit of a side show ourselves.  This picture is even missing three of us.
I tell everyone how fabulous Omaha's zoo is and I think this picture gives you a glimpse.  What a great habitat for the gorillas.
The aquarium with sharks swimming overhead.
Seth and Cannon
The Desert Dome in the background.
Twin fever!  Having Jett, Wynn, Rook, and Cannon push them in their strollers may have been the highlight of the entire trip for Brad and Seth.  They got a much more exciting ride when them as drivers.
We went to the ward Halloween party.  Brad loved all the relay games and poor Seth was just tuckered out.
They lasted about four houses and ate the candy as we went.
Happy Halloween!!
