I haven’t used pencils on their own for ages and as I seem to be getting in a bit of a mess with my markers just lately I thought I’d give them a solo outing.

Digital Delights Wednesday – 3D Month

Hello there! Me again!!

So why am I here, well after the Delightful Challenge Blog closed I was honoured to be asked by the amazing Wendy Hall to become a part of the Digital Delights team! Yipee!!! So here I am!!! My lovely and gifted team mate, Sandy Palmer (you have to check out her AWESOME designs), will take it in turns each Wednesday to bring you themed posts, and this month our theme is 3D.

I have used one of the New Release images Hot Air Balloon Natasha that is also available coloured here.

I thought I would make a mobile, as you do, and Natasha was perfect for this! It is sort of 3D I guess! My absent Mojo is still sunning itself somewhere exotic so I was shocked and amazed that I managed to come up with anything at all!!
Not so much mobile as immobile as I had to snap it laying down!! (It not me!)
Not the easiest thing to capture! Note to self: don't make anything you struggle to photograph! It is the quickest road to madness!!! J
Ingredients:
Sentiment: Come Fly With Me
Dies: Tonic ‘Nesting Circles’ – La-La Land ‘Flag Banner’ – Sizzix ‘Heart Framelits’ & ‘Oval Framelits
Paper/Card: Neenah Solar White – various from stash
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils
Others: Clip Art clouds – Twine - beads

Float over to the Digital Delights Blog every day for your regular fix of fab inspiration and don’t forget to visit the shop to see Wendy’s delicious designs!

Thanks so much for looking, and have a wonderful day!
See ya!

Colourful hugs

Hi! I’m back again as it is Choosday and we have a new challenge over at Digi Choosday and our theme this week is January Birthdays!

As usual there is a fab prize up for grabs so check out the blog for details.

As one of my brother’s kindly has a birthday in January (thanks Jonathan), and just so happens to play the drums, I made a card for him using the fab Drummer Troy!
I love this little guy! Great hat!!
I also used one of the papers from Work & Play 6 (the stars are cut from this paper too), a ticket sentiment from Work & Play 1 and a circular ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment (that became the base drum) from Work & Play 8. These collections are soooo versatile and trust me you need them all!!! J

Ingredients:
Image: Drummer Troy
Sentiments: Work & Play 1 &  Work & Play 8
Card: Neenah Solar White
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils
Dies: Tonic ‘Nesting Ovals’ – Sizzix ‘Star Framelits’ – ‘J’ from the Britannia alphabet die set
Others: Gem

Cutie Pie Challenge – Cute White on White!

Hi there! Hope you are well and had a good weekend!

We have our first challenge of 2015 starting over on the Cutie Pie Challenge Blog  today and our theme for the New Year is Cute White on White! (Yikes!!) So get out those cute images and the oodles of white stuff you must have and make us something adorable!!!

We have some fabulous sponsors this time so pop over to the blog to check out the amazing prizes on offer!

So after the post-Christmas ‘not-at-all-in the-mood-for-crafting’ slump I confess to struggling somewhat with this one! (Hence the ‘Yikes’ earlier!!) I have only ever made one other WoW creation in my life so I was a bit stumped.  However when I saw this little lady I thought she would be perfect for the challenge…….
I used the super cute Polkadoodles Work & Play Chef that is available as an instant download or you can print her from the awesome Work and Play 7 Collection.  This also includes tons of sentiments and elements, some of which I have included here.  However the apron is a 'Hopeless Hand drawing' which I have to admit looks a tad like Robbie the Robot...and look he's waving!!! J J
Love that sentiment!! Made my mum laugh!! J
Oh and by the way….those are supposed to be cracked eggs in the top left! Just in case you were wondering!! J

Ingredients:
Elements: Chef’s hat, Kitchen Jars & sentiment from Work and Play 7 Collection
Dies: Tonic ‘Nesting Circles’ & ‘Nesting Ovals’
Paper/Card: Neenah Solar White – Kanban stepper card blank
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils
Others: Doilies – Martha Stewart air dry clay and cupcake mould
Hopeless Hand drawings: Apron!!

So cook up a storm and ‘fry’ (!) over to the Cutie Pies blog to see all the wonderful projects created by the team.

Thanks so much for looking, and have a lovely day!
See ya!

Dig Choosday Challenge – Week 1: Thanks!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Wow it’s seems like an age since I've been here and it is very nice to be back! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!  I don't know about you but my crafty enthusiasm and mojo took a serious knock over the festive period but hopefully I can get back into the swing of things now. Santa was very kind to me though, bless him, and brought me LOADS of crafty goodies so I really have no excuse!!

OK I'll stop the waffle as it is Choosday we have our first challenge of the year over at Digi Choosday and our theme this week is Thanks!  As usual there is a fab prize up for grabs so check out the blog for details.

For my ‘Thank You’ card I decided to use the gorgeous Dollie Daydream – Ready for Rain (love her fabulous hair, pity I couldn't do it justice) and teamed her with the stunning papers and flower elements from the Winston Deluxe Full Collection.
I digitally paper pieced the umbrella (check me!!) and made an easel card as they are still my all-time favourite card fold!  Bit difficult to photograph though!
Apologies for the slightly dodgy colouring! I haven't had a pen or pencil in my hand for over 3 weeks!! Shocking!
Ingredients:
Card: Neenah Solar White - Kraft
Colouring/Ink: Spectrum Noir markers & pencils
Dies: Spellbinder Grand Scalloped Circles – Tonic ‘Nesting Ovals’ – MB ‘Puffy Clouds’
Others: Gems

So I'd be 'grateful' if you'd wander over to the blog to see the incredible inspiration created by my amazingly talented teamies and join in with this fab challenge! And don't forget to check out Nikky’s fab designs in the shopThere’s a wonderful new release to tempt you too!! J

Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!
See ya!
