Best Buds

It's absolutely crazy how much these two love each other. Colt and Blayke are the bestest friends. Every where we go Colt always says Blayke is coming too, every day we go outside to play and Colt always says Blayke is coming over to play too. There is not a day that goes by that Colt doesn't ask about Blayke. We are so blessed that they get along so well and they love each other so much. I think they will be friends for life...either way they will always be together, being cousins and all! LOL!

Conversations...

These are just a few of the conversations with Colt and Jace lately...

We are outside and Jace spits...
Colt: "Dad don't spit by me, that's gross!"
Jace: "Gross? Do you know what is gross?!?! Wiping your butt everyday!!"
Colt: "Ahhh, BABE be quiet, haha!"

Colt now calls us "babe!" He catches on to things so quickly!! LOL

2nd Conversation driving home:
Colt: "I farted"
Jace: "Gross Colt, what do you say?"
Colt: "I don't want to say it, oops I just farted again!"
Jace: "Colt!!"
Colt: "What?? I think I need to poop really bad"

Things that come out of both boys mouths these days just crack me up. Colt is all boy!!

Evening Ride

We met up with Jestin and Taryn, who were out visiting family, and took an evening ride. The boys jumped on the 4-wheelers and Taryn and I rode in her in-laws Rhino with the little guys. We went up over the mesa and found the virgin river. Colt and Blayke had a blast! It is the only good thing about the summer, evening rides!!

Jump House

The beginning of May I was able to take a much needed vacation. We didnt have any plans and pretty much just relaxed the whole time, which sometimes I think is so much better than actually leaving town. We did go into Vegas one day and met up with Taryn and Blayke. We went all the way across town to "Pump It Up," a wharehouse of slides and big bounce houses. this place was awesome! It only cost $7 for Colt to jump and it was free for adults. We all got to jump for several hours. Now every time we go into Vegas all Colt wants to do is go to the jump house and is talking about going there for his birthday. I guess we will see!!

Easter 2011

Easter was so much fun this year. Colt was very excited fot the Easter Bunny to come, he kept waiting for him to hop down our driveway. We colored eggs with Grammy the day before Easter and on Easter Sunday went to Caitlin's in-laws for dinner and an egg hunt. Taryn and Blayke came with us, the boys had a blast.

Easter Bunny

On Saturday Taryn, Vicki, Caitlin and I took the boys to see the Easter Bunny! They were both really excited while waiting in line, but were a little hesitant to sit on his lap. Once they were up there they were both fine and cheesin' it.

We bribed Blayke with a fake cupcake to get him to hold still, it was funny!

Clark County Fair

It was fair time again this year. The weather was so crappy this year it made it miserable, but we toughed it out and still managed to have lots of fun. We ate lots of fair food and got to visit with tons of friends and family. Hopefully next year the weather will cooperate and make it a lot easier on us!
