Aria's Birthday Party

A few days before her birthday we had a party for Aria at Grandma and Grandpa Murphy's.
This is the third year she has requested to have her party there. With an August birthday it's perfect to go swimming!

We were busy in the water, so we have no pictures of that, but here we are eating, opening presents, and doing the cake:
Aria and her friend Ambree shared a chair

What a sweet girl

Here's the cake I made.
All I did was ombre ruffles and then dropped some Frozen toys on top:

And the video of us singing here

Water Play

Over the summer we play out in the water a lot.
This year we have a membership to the YMCA, so we were able to go swimming a bunch. We also headed out to splash pads and went swimming at Grandma Murphy's and of course... playing in the backyard.

We had a little pool and a slip n' slide.

Add in a sprinkler and some buckets and we had lots of fun

We didn't take pictures of playing out back often, but I took some one Monday night when we had a water fight for FHE:

Corin just walked around chewing on the water guns and water balloons and trying to put rocks in his mouth

Parker started just throwing buckets of water once the water balloons ran out:

Random pics from July

Aria said she was "so fancy" and wanted me to take a picture.
She's obsessed with being fancy.
Almost everyday she gets dressed fancy, or puts on some accessory and asks if she's fancy.

Making a funny face, he called it "eye-moose"

On the carousel at PV mall.

And playing in the mall playplace

One morning while I was cooking breakfast the kids killed off a bowl of fruit.
Then Aria wanted to use the lid as a plate, and Parker made use of the bowl:

In primary, Parker had a lesson on gratitude. he came home that day and made me this:

Parker posing with our chain-link countdowns:
The one on the left was counting down until Aria's birthday. And the Mickey-mouse chain links on the right were counting down the days from her birthday until we leave for Disneyland!

Baby in July

Just some pictures of the baby on the month of July: (9-10 months)

Good thing we're not germaphobes:

Corin learned to walk at the very end of July, right after he turned 10 months

Cow Appreciation Day

Once again, we dressed up as cows to get free food for Cow appreciation day.
Can I say how much I love this?
Why I love it:
I'm ALL about free stuff.
Also, I love doing fun/silly things with my kids.
and to top it off we rarely go out to eat (even fast food), so that is a big deal and a major treat for my kids

So we get free food. All we have to do is dress like cows. Which is fun and silly and I would enjoy doing with my kids anyway, and now I've been given a great excuse to do it (and in public!) And we get yummy junk food, with no cooking, and no dishes!

This year, we went for THREE meals. Breakfast at the location near our house, Lunch out at Arrowhead and Dinner again by our house with Daddy after he got home from work.

The Arrowhead location also gave out popcorn and cotton candy and balloons and stuff too!

And we got ice cream after dinner to finish with a bang!

Here are our pictures. All but the last one were taken at lunch.

Man, I have the cutest cows kids!
