TAG!

I hate these! Don't get me wrong, I love to read other peoples, but hate doing my own. The only reason I am really playing the game is because, we are on a two and half week vacation/interview trip and I can't download any new pics till I get home. So I decided to play so I can have a new post, and not get yelled at for not having anything new.

What is the best thing I cooked last week?

I got pretty spoiled being with my parents, I think we have eaten out almost every night. The only thing I can really remember making is TV dinners for my kids!

If time, money, and babysitting were no object, where would I go and with who?

I would probably want to go to one of those fancy spas in Colorado and get pampered like crazy. They would also have horses to go riding in the mountains. Mountains that don't have fences or people around for miles. John of course would be with me! My kids would be able to pop in after a good week of pampering and we would head to Disneyland, Sea World, and the Epicot center...that would be closed to everyones except our closest friends and family. (Anyone who is reading this can pretty much consider yourself invited!)

Five Things I was doing ten years ago.

Getting Married

The births of each of my children...and all those amazing moments since, that sort of feel like life is perfect right at that space of time.

I have finished. I am not passing it on. I love all of you too much to torture you. I will allow all of your other friends to do that!

Friday

Leaf Pile!

I look forward to doing this all year long! My kids love to rake the leaves and then jump in the leaves. I love to take pictures of them doing it. There were plenty of leaves to rake up! I was pretty impressed with the pile. (dad helped) Deeken loved laughing at the kids while they played in the leaves, But he was content to just look at the leaves and not be in them. Maybe content is not the word, when we put him in the pile of leaves he would start to bawl. One leaf wasn't quite as overwhelming. All in all they had a pretty great time!

Tree Climbers!

Oregon is a pretty Tree hugger state! Not a bad thing, just not something I am used to. There are plenty of beautiful, very green trees here, and I can see why Oregonians would want to keep it that way. They haven't really converted us to the hugging, but Micah and Noah sure do love to climb them.

Deeken Becomes A Baldy!

Deeken has grown much more hair than Noah ever did before his first haircut, but it is pretty much just his top mohawk look. Dad wasn't so in to that, thus Deeken's first haircut. I jokingly called him the perfect Hitler baby. He has beautiful blue eyes, and that nice blond slick hairdo. This were pretty good on the top, he stayed pretty calm. But when it came to shaving the sides, he wasn't diggin' it, so I got out the sucker! In the end, even the sucker didn't help. It did however turn his mouth a nice shade of blue! Between the trauma and the blue mouth, I didn't take a picture of the "after". So look to future posts to see his new do!

HI-HO-It's back to OREGON we Go!

Hi all! We are back in Oregon, only leaving half the stuff that we should have brought home with us back in Utah! We had a great trip and made some awesome memories. A BIG thank you goes out to John's sister who let us stay at her house! We had sooo much fun with their family. My kids were in heaven playing with all of their cousins, both in Idaho and Utah. I would love to show you some of the fun pictures I took, but once again my computer failed to compute, and deleted half of my awesome pics. Many tears were shed, because of so many cool ones I lost. The saddest for me, were the ones of the kids with John's parents. I worked sooo hard to get some great ones with them, and most of them are now gone. Oh well, I am still trying to be grateful for what I do have. What is most important, is the relationships that were re-bonded, and my kids will always have those.
