Our little sweet pea turned 5 months old on October 13th! It's amazing how quickly she is growing and changing! She is still absolutely fascinated by her hands and fingers, she is smiling and giggling a lot more, and even rolls around like it's nothing! She rolled from her tummy to her back on September 10th for Grandma Carla and then on September 30th she rolled from her back to her tummy for Grandma Colleen. She is now starting to figure out if she keeps on rolling she can get to wherever she wants to go! She has also started to sleep in her crib in her own room. Man, is that ever difficult for her mother! We are trying to get her on some kind of schedule... so far, no good! She used to sleep through the night till about 5am, now she wakes up around 2am... oh what to do? Hopefully it's just a growth spurt! I am surprised though at how much she is learning! She is one smart little girl!
Good Things To Remember
"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. You have to agree that you are 'less' and that someone else is 'more' to feel inferior. If you don't agree, you cannot possibly feel inferior. You might know something less, or you might be able to do something less, but you ARE unique and hence simply incomparable.... Do not buy into being reduced to an object of comparison."
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brillant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." We Are Under Construction
So I have decided to give our blog a face lift! I found a site that will customize your page, but it comes at a cost, of course. So I decided to try and do it myself. I have the scrapbooking software, I just need to learn how to do it!
It might take a while, but one day soon we will have a new look!
Good luck to me!
