Paper Smooches SPARKS! Challenge

Here is the inspiration photo for this challenge, isn't it lovely!  If you want to check out the challenge click here.   So for my card I took the orange and used it for my mischievous cat.  I took the beads as lanterns in blue and green and the twine was used to string them.  This was such a fun card to make!

Paint the town color challenge

I was fortunate enough to win a set of Market Street Stamps at there latest release celebration!  I am trilled that I won seeing that I am on a craft spending freeze until probably sometime after the new year:(  But I won a set so I am now able to play in there challenges!  If you want to check out this challenge click here.  Okay now for my card

The cardstock and pattern paper are from PTI and the stamp set is Market Street's "Comforting Florals".  I die cut the shape out of the pattern paper and adhered the pattern paper my cardstock.  I then stamped the flowers in a yellow ink and  then stamped over the flower centers with versamark ink so that I could add a little perfect pearls to the centers( It is kind of hard to see in the photo, I had really bad lighting today).  I also stamped the vase with versamark and brushed it with a perfect pearl powder as well.  Last but not least I stamped the sentiment with a chocolate colored ink.

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge: August

This months Challenge used this beautiful photo.



I love this photo!  I tried to create the background of my card in a similar fashion.  I used a embossing folder and some paint.  The image is from FOLKal points set.  I took the small flower in the set and stamped the bottom of the doll with it in versamark ink and heat embossed them with teal  embossing powder, then I colored the flowers and added stickles to the centers (it is kind of hard to see in the photo but really pretty in person).  I also sprayed a white flower with some pink glimmer mist and then painted to edges with white paint, I love how it turned out!  If you want to play along this month you still have a few more days just click here.
