We saw pretty much everything... we saw all the pyramids, tons of tombs, the sweet cairo museum which was totally awesome. i bought a special ticket and got to go in and see all of the mummies of the pharos. it was crazy cool. they all had really good teeth which was confusing to me because i didnt think that 4000 years ago they had tooth brushes. i couldnt figure that one out. one of the mummies had blonde hair too, pretty crazy, and another one had a sweet cul-de-sac (bald). a few of them were preserved really well, others... not so much.
anways, we went to the valley of the kings and saw their tombs that had been carved into the canyon walls and ground. it was really cool.
they tried to scare us the whole time about the water and food and washing our hands or else we would get deathly sick, but i didnt get sick once. other people did though. sucked for them haha.
the places we saw were so amazing... i just cant believe all of the detail and intricacies that went into it, on top of all of the architectural brilliance, it was just incredible. it was honestly breath taking!
we also rode camels. haha.when we were done in cairo and luxor we went to Siani and woke up at 2am and hiked to the top to watch the sunrise. it was a pretty cool experience. i stood where moses stood and talked to God. i watched the sun rise where moses watched the sun rise. it was really awesome. but boy was it a tuff hike. my legs are still tender haha. when we were done hiking Siani we got back on the bus and came home (to the Jerusalem Center)
(this post should have been so much more detailed because of the incredible trip i had... but im lazy sorry. haha.)
