Just two weeks ago we got a chance to get out-of-town finally! It was such a fun trip, being able to close down the produce stand, take a week off of work, and just do anything and everything we'd want to do! Since everyday we were in a new place I'll quickly hit the highlights of the trip:
Just two weeks ago we got a chance to get out-of-town finally! It was such a fun trip, being able to close down the produce stand, take a week off of work, and just do anything and everything we'd want to do! Since everyday we were in a new place I'll quickly hit the highlights of the trip:
Nevada: Mirage Buffet
California (San Diego): Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla Beach (We swam with dolphins and a sea lions), Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Huntington Beach!
California (San Fransico): Nice Indian man at the hotel, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge
Oregon: Portland (was beautiful!), The Elderberry (Nice waitresses at the restaurant, the fiddle-playing hitchhikers, the our 2 twin bed motel room), Sunset Beach (Breakfast from the town bakery- pastry & cinnimon rolls by the beach!)
Washington: Seattle, our coupon deal hotel room, Dinner at the Space Needle (Way too expensive, but the view & Kenny, worth it for sure!), Pike Place Market
THE RIDE HOME: Almost running out of gas between Idaho & Snowville, UT @ 2:30 A.M. and running on fumes and prayers until the next gas station!
Well that's pretty much it! I probably doesn't sound as amazing as it was, but it was so nice seeing new sites, meeting new people, and not worrying about money! Thanks mum for the reservations and Kenny for such a great memory to keep for our family vacation!
