Just noticed today that Ridge is cutting his first tooth! I shouldn't be surprised, Gunnar got his first tooth at four months, Dalton at six months. Ridge will be six months on Saturday. But, nonetheless, I was a little shocked to see that little tooth in Ridge's mouth. Poor little guy has been pretty grumpy because of it.

Happy Anniversary Jake! Reader Beware: slightly mushy content!
It was Jake and I's eighth wedding anniversary Monday! Man, how the time flies! Jake's parents watched the boys and we went to dinner at the new Brazilian steakhouse in Clearfield. It was so yummy! I ate waaayyy too much!
As I sit thinking about these past eight years, they have been the best eight years of my life without question! I am so grateful for the choice I made all those years ago. I know the Lord's hand was in our meeting and guided me in the decision to marry Jake. I am grateful for the wonderful husband and father he is. He is my best friend and the love of my life. Here are a few of my favorite things about Jake: He is very calm and even tempered, he has a can do attitude (i.e. our house project) and accomplishes pretty much everything he sets his mind to, this one is related to the previous one: he can fix anything! (even if it means using baling twine on occasion ; ) ) He is willing to take time off work to watch the kids so I can have a getaway for some much need r&r- thanks so much sweetheart! He has pitched in a ton lately with housework and the bedtime routine, which I greatly appreciate! He took such good care of me and the kids when I was so sick after having Ridge, he always takes at least a week off work to help me after I have a baby and he always stays the whole hospital stay with me up at the hospital, he is an excellent father and no matter how busy he is, he always takes time to play and wrestle with the kids and makes sure they know how much he loves them, he is a very hard worker and a wonderful provider, he honors his priesthood, he gives the best FHE lessons, he is very thoughtful and kind: he has on multiple occasions, by himself, taken the boys around to deliver cookies to people in the ward he has thought might need them. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband. Thanks for the best eight years of my life! Looking forward to the years ahead! Love ya!
