Goose Egg

This must be the year for goose eggs. Isabel got a monster of a goose egg. She wasn't even running. She was walking. She still has a habit of falling every once in a while, so that's all I can think of that happened. I was doing dishes, she was walking behind me. The next thing I knew, she was crying so hard, on the floor, right in front of the Tupperware cabinet. She had hit her head on the corner/edge of the cabinet (where you can see the blood line). Poor baby. She looked like she had a growth on her forehead.
16 months old and her first goose egg.
Giving Powell "niiii" (nice).

5 Years!

Today Matt and I celebrated 5 years of marriage. I can't believe how fast it has gone, and sometimes, I can't believe that it's only been 5 years. ;) We didn't really have anything planned, and weren't going to get each other anything since we're a bit strapped for cash, but Matt surprised me anyway! Go figure. Since the traditional anniversary gift for 5 years is something wood, Matt gave me this Willow Tree figurine, The Promise. So very sweet, and I love it. He also brought home a very sweet card and a cheap bottle of champagne. We had a nice evening in.
We also found out that some friends of ours had their first baby on our anniversary. :) Congratulations to Caleb and Carley on your sweet baby girl, Emory. We can't wait to meet her!

D-Rama!

So sweet, until.....
Don't get me wrong. I've dealt, and deal with a dramatic little boy, but girls are definitely something else. Funny thing is, for the most part, she makes me laugh.
