Last day of 2013

And its the last day of 2013. 

Today we reflect on the past year, reflect on the happy times, challenging times, lessons learnt, goals missed and goals achieved, and just cause its the last day of 2013, it does not stop us learning new spells!

Today's spell is the "invisible ink"

Abracadabra...check the wand is invisible.  The magic is real!

First we write something 

And it magically dissapears!

Next spell, is the colour changing frizz frenzy

Our last meal of the year was left overs, it is old years eve after all!

A long relaxing bath, cleansing and getting ready for the new year

And then...

Once the boys were asleep.  Us parentals welcomed the new year is the wildest way possible

Christmas House decor

As promised, here are some pics from around our neighborhood all decorated for Christmas.  There were so many houses all geared up, beautiful decorations, but I kept driving past unprepared and missed the opportunity.  Oh well, next year.  For now enjoy the pics I did get ;-)

Last Saturday of 2013

Lazy morning with my boys:

 And while Mr Mateo sleeps, we learn hoe to make a rainbow loom candy cane ornament

And since Mateo's morning nap is longer than expected we tried out the starburst bracelet

The afternoon was spent at the local roller skating rink with cuzzies

 And while dinner is being made a supporting bracelet is made to match the starburst

It even looks good on his ankle lol
