i've finally completed a first draft of the introduction.. its SUCH an accomplishment because i have been trying for WEEKS to start working on sthing for FYP.. and i'm proud to say i've taken the first move.. well actually Vicki took the first move.. if she told me she hadnt written hers.. i doubt i would have wrote mine.. so cheers to vicki and myself! and yue too because she's doing hers now.. ;D
Dear Dear's got As and Bs for his second semester.. another reason to celebrate! hahaaa.. but then again... it probably isnt much to celebrate about because.. he should have gotten straight As with that brain of his.. well maybe 1 B.. for maths.. hahaha
i was doing my final round of subject planning.. ok maybe not final round.. but subj reg is coming up real soon.. it was tough!! i hate sub reg when there are so limited mods i can take.. gee whats wrong with NTU.. hiking up fees but not doing anything to increase the modules offered..
anyway.. since i've done my part for the first internal deadline for FYP.. i shall do sthing happy to reward myself.. like posting more pictures from hk!!
ok today i shall post on China, Xiamen.. ;D i think i spent 3 days there.. a really short time.. i loved the food there.. and jacky's house..and Xiao Hei.. his dog..
Jacky's houssse.. it looks fine from the outside.. but bet u didnt know that it was only a third complete on the inside.. the second and third floors were still cemented but not tiled yet... lol.. but there was magnificent view from the roof top! show you people in awhile. ;)
In a cab on our way to this famous island known to be a tourist attraction called Gu Lang Yu <<鼓浪峪>>.. thats Yunz and Me! the little red thing at the back is Jacky..ahaha
One of the many high rise apartments there along the roads.. they look really nice! i really didnt think that Xiamen had nice clean and new buildings everywhere!
Thats Jacky in red and his friend in pink... i forgot his name.. i only rmbr that he was really nice to go sight seeing with us.. and that he was a bum.. lol.. but anyway cuz jacky lived a distance from the nearest bus stop.. so we had to ride a motorbike out or walk out..and so he offered to come along so that we could have enough transport..
a nice view while on the ferry on our way to the island..the weather was great. and the islands were really nice! ;D

oh this is a statue of some famous person in xiamen..legend has it that he was such powerful figure and when he died.. they decided to put a statue of him there cuz he could stop the typhoons that were hitting xiamen.. i cant rmbr if it worked.. i think it did.. but my memory cant really be trusted.. haha

Yunz and me.. we were at this park which had statues of the 12 chinese zodiac all over.. so u can guess.. thats a tiger yunz is touching.. touching it will give you good luck! ;)

When we got back to his province.. Tong An.. we went around looking at nice buildings and landmarks like these ;)
This was a vehicle we used to get around while touring the estate.. a small thing like that could actually hold the 4 of us.. amazing!

This thing.. i dont know what its called.. but it was so nice!! i tried it in Chinatown back here and it tasted horrible! but this one is crispy and sweet.. and also sour.. it was soooo nice..

And see the cups they're holding.. we got that from a push cart by the road.. tastes great.. u just pick the items you want .. and they'll make it hot and ready for you.. delicious! and cheap!
And here's jacky getting some very famous salted duck for us.. they cook it in a claypot.. and u can actually smell it way before you reach the shop.. and i dont usually take duck meat.. but this one is good!! ;D
And on our way hoooome.. i was so unwilling to go.. i waved gdbye to all the pigs and ducks and chickens at the farms we passed.. oh but riding the bike was very cool.. even though we were scared to bits the first few times we rode it..

As sad as we were to leave.. we had some very delicious krispy kremes after we landed before we headed back to our hostels.. well they werent all that great actually.. really too sweet for my liking.. but if u take just one.. it actually tastes really good! but a second one would be too much.. yun's having the halloween special.. her's has maggots crawling out of them..haha
and these are mine!! so chocolatey ay... i'll rmbr to only have one next time i'm there..
alright... that was the end of our trip to xiamen.. i regret not travelling to more places.. *sulks*
i've been eating out so much... i feel so very fat. and very tired.. but i like the life i'm having right now.. although work hasnt really been fun and i'm sick of talking my throat sore.. or listening to old people telling me their life stories.. i cant help being sympathetic.. but i realise its been slowing me down cuz i spend so much time letting them go on.. what can i do but listen to them.. sigh..
lets see what i've had this week.
Monday: sakae sushi + dessert @ coffee club
Tuesday: Sun with Moon.. ramen and sushi
Wednesday: Manhatten.. fishermen's platter for 3.. all that fried stuff.. eww..
Thursday: Big O..pasta..
Friday: Wassant @ central then Home cooked food! Fried rice with calamari and a sunny side up egg.. and also ruffles chips later on.
i am so gg to be pregnant with food.
