Last Christmas card of the year

So here is my last Christmas card for this year, I really need to get myself so much more organised next year, but we'll see! lol!  Anyway back to this year, I have used the trees stamp and stag die again for this card and I have embossed the background with swiss dots folder, added some washi tape with deer on it and mounted it all on Kraft cs.

A last minute card

Well I have really struggled this year to make enough cards to go round but I have 1 or 2 left to share.  I have posted them all but had to succumb to buying some!  Better luck next year! So today I will share a card I made using a tag that I made a little while ago.  I decided to use it as a topper instead of a tag! lol  I think the paper is K&CO and I finished off with some little wooden rounds.  I really like the stag die cut and the tree stamp.

The DT were very generously given some images to play along with and I chose 'Chipper Tweets'.  I coloured the image with Copics and Chameleons and I added some sparkle medium to his hat. The papers are Basic Grey Blitzen collection. I embossed the main green piece and then used a fiskars punch on the image mat. Sentiment is a PTI stamp and finished off with some washi tape that has shiny gold stars on it.

For my card this week I have used the image 'Bunny Christmas' which I have coloured with Copics and Chameleons then I added some glamour dust to his hat and I found a very old bottle of some glitter writer which I used for the snow (crossed my fingers it was still going to work and thankfully it did! lol) Kept the card nice and simple so as not to distract from the  gorgeous image.  The background is embossed with snowflakes, a simple sentiment and then while I was looking for some embellishments I started playing around with some Prima flowers and wanted them to sparkle so I thought I'd try colouring over them with some SN Sparkles and I was pleased with the result, for this card I added clear sparkle over white flowers then finished off with some green gems.

Good morning, well I'm getting a little excited as tomorrow we are off on a holiday, we have rented a cottage near the sea (Adrian hopes to get a bit of fishing done) complete with log burner, so I'm looking forward to some time curled up with a good book or maybe a bit of knitting but definitely NO WORK! lol

The DT were very generously given some wonderful images to play along with.  I have used the beautiful 'Peace' and this week I have coloured the image with SN pencils, (still need plenty of practice! but I think it came out ok) papers are from my stash by Flair Designs.  I have added glamour dust to her hood and then inked round the edges with vintage photo and peeled paint as the white card just seemed way to harsh. The sentiment is a freebie stamp from a magazine, again inked to take away the harshness of the white cs.

For my project this week I have made a wall hanging that I will take into work as our guys love Halloween and the inevitable party that that entails! (they already went to one party on Saturday!) I used 'Halloween Poem' which I printed directly on to orange cs then I added the different die cuts using the Cricut and finished off by adding some glitter to the image using the SN Sparkle pens.

So this week I decided to make a gift bag ready for Christmas, I used the We R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board, which I purchased recently, to make the bag out of a piece of 12x12 BG Blitzen papers, added some Kraft die cut Christmas trees which I inked with white.  The image is 'Sledging' and she is coloured with copics and chameleons with some glamour dust added for some sparkle, doesn't she look like she is having so much fun! For my tag I started with some Kraft card and die cut the shape, then I inked all round the shape using ink duster and white ink, stamped the trees on using old olive ink, added a die cut and inked reindeer, the sentiment is wooden and has also been inked and finished off with some ribbon.

Unfortunately this week my mojo has gone AWOL so I really struggled to come up with a card and I almost ran out of time too! So it is quite a simple card, coloured cs of which the background piece was embossed, wrapped so ribbon around the mat piece before added the stamped and die cut image which is from PTI.  The little wooden pumpkins were attached to some different ribbon and I finished of with a sentiment from a different PTI set.

Family Fun In The Sun

Just wanted to pop on and share a project I made for the progressive challenge over at SBS Friends.  This month there was a choice of images and I went with Beach Family and decided that rather than just making a card I made a little photo/scrap album.  The background is just a piece out of an old road atlas, I framed the image, which was coloured with copics and chameleons, to look like a Polaroid and added a stamped sentiment from PTI.  The little postcard is a print and cut with the Cricut, the film strip is a sizzix die cut, a couple of little wooden bits a sticker and fabric sticker added and all finished off with ribbons along the top.  Had fun with this.
