Pirate Bear at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge and SWEET STUFF!!

Happy Day, Everyone!! I hope you had a marvelous week and are already enjoying a splendid weekend. We are having amazingly HOT weather but I am not complaining!! I remember snow and ice and I quickly forget how warm it is!!!

This week at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge our theme is PLAYTIME and what could be more fun than that theme?? We hope you will come on over and join in with us this week and give us your idea of Time to Play!!! This week there is a very nice prize available for some lucky winner.

For my card I used the cute and sweet Pirate Bear who is just having a blast pretending he is a pirate on a fun expedition! The image was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers. The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DPs are from the MME Kraft Funday paper pad. For the horizontal I used some hemp string and the rest of the embellies are from a button pack...gold doubloons, pirate ship, and pirate hat.



On the inside I used more buttons--Pirate chest, sword, and treasure map.

I am trying my best to have fun and enjoy...although it has been so very warm here. You all know how often I lose power because of rain/lightning/snow/ice, etc....but I don't have an excuse any more!!! My Auntie bought me a generator system for my birthday so as soon as my power goes off, then I have all power galore!!! I am so excited and am awaiting the power failure already!!! Tilda Winding Flowers at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge and WINNER and SWEET STUFF!!!

Happy Friday everyone!!! Gosh, what a wonderful week this has been!! I am back into Tai Chi and my regular gym training and all is well. I have no pain or problems with my shoulder and I am so fortunate that no surgery is suggested for the moment....And YES, I am behaving!!!! hahah

This week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are being hosted by the very talented Mo who has given us the challenge of PURPLE and WHITE. Although my card has more colors I think it will show that you can also use other colors as long as the main colors are purple and white! There is a wonderful prize this week so I hope you will come on over and join in with us this week!!

For my card I used the very cute Tilda Winding Flowers from the New Summer Memories Collection available now at Magnolia-licious. Please have a peek at these cuties as well as all of the MINIS from the same collection. The image was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics and Promarkers, using some Stickles for a bit of sparkle to the flowers. I want to apologize because, for whatever reason, my camera will just not picture the purples correctly...but I can assure you that the colors really do match...lolol. The base and all double matting of the card is Bazzill and the DP is from the Best Creations A Walk In The Garden Collection which was a gift from the sweet Suzan...Thank you so much, Sweetie...just love those sparkly papers!!! For the horizontal I used some Purple Organza Ribbon to anchor a sweet silver birdhouse charm to repeat the motif from the DP. The floral arrangement is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Cherry Blossoms and Heather. To finish the front I used some Self-Adhesive Rhinestones to soften some corners.

Lili's Little Fairies Challenge and SWEET STUFFS!!!

Happy Thursday to everyone!!! Gosh, what a wonderful week this is!!! I hope that you are all having as much of a marvelous week as I am having!!! I can move my left arm and can play, play play!!! That just tickles me to the max!!!

For my card this week I used the Glamourous Gardening, stamped her on X-Press Blending Card and colored her with Copics and Promarkers, adding Stickles to the flowers and costume jewelry.The base and all matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the MME Lime Twist- Life of the Party Collection. The diecut is from Cheery Lynn and the double corner pearls are from Recollection. All other embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Self Adhesive Pearls, Decorative Metal Corner sprayed with white acrylic, Trellis Rose, Wild Roses, Gypsophilia, and Hip Rosebuds. The pearl and butterfly pin is a special gift from my sweet friend Suzan...isn't it lovely!!!!

Gosh!!!! Happy Friday to everyone!!! It is so wonderful to be posting again without trying to use one hand and arm!!! AND I will have a card for tomorrow...I can finally cut paper and use my left arm without pain!!!! I went to the orthopedic surgeon yesterday and the injections were a real miracle! It is a rotator cuff problem BUT no surgery if I behave and no more moving of heavy furniture, etc...lolol...I do have to go to Physical Therapy for 3 months and I know it will be all healed 'cause I promise to BEHAVE!!!!! Thanks to all of you who jotted me notes of your concern and I appreciate all of the good wishes....they worked!!!!

A very happy Saturday, Friends!! I hope that you all had a marvelous week and are well into a marvelous weekend. I am sorry that I haven't been in touch and am late with the winners posting but I have been at doctor's and hospitals all week long and am still not the best with my left shoulder and arm. It just will not do what I tell it to!!! lol I will be going to the orthopedic surgeon on Thursday so maybe this is the answer...they still don't know what is causing the problem....rotator cuff??? nerve damage??? or OLD AGE (my guess)!!! hahahhaha

So this is as close as I have come to making a card this week...you can see that I have started but that's about as close as I could manage... and I am using that darling little Hopeful by the amazing Sylvia Zet for the latest collection at Whimsy Stamps. Isn't she a real little cutie!!!!
