Life's rather dull for me recently.
Don't know what i am doing most of the time.
Following routine everyday.
Just feel like doing something different.
I need the adrenaline rush.
I want to experience it again. - really
It's a feeling that gets me out of my shell,
a shell which I've been inside for quite awhile.
I've been playing too safe.
It's boring.
How long can I control myself?
I wish I knew.
Breaking out can be both exhilarating and agonizing.
Sometimes it seems as if I'm left with no choice.
But i just need to do it this way.
Maybe keeping things this way is good enough for me.
I shouldn't ask for more.
Being with just myself,
i guess i'll just be fine.
I hope i'll be.
To the too many distractions in my life,
please distance yourselves from me.
Don't stay there and constantly push me off track.

It's a very very deadly cancer, very hard to cure.
The disorder occurs in middle- or older-aged people, with the first symptom often being dull pain in the upper abdomen that may radiate into the back. Of all the cancers, it has the highest death rate. In England, 7000 people are being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every year.

Research has shown that women who consume a lot of white bread, white rice and potatoes(all contains high amount of starch) increase the chances of contracting this cancer by 57% !! Obesity and lack of exercise are also increases the chances by 2.5 times!!

When we consume food that contains high amount of starch, our body secretes more insulin.
The more the insulin, the higher the chance of getting pancreatic cancer.

PREVENTION

Doctors recommend keeping a healthy weight, and increasing consumption of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while decreasing red meat intake, although there is no consistent evidence that this will prevent or reduce pancreatic cancer specifically.Also, B vitamins such as B12, B6, and folate, can reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer when consumed in food, but not when ingested in vitamin tablet form.



Conclusion:
It can happen to both females and males. It'd be nice to tell your friends and people whom you care for about this. Especially your mums. Always go for regular check-ups!

THURSDAY [ 28/08]

TRIP TO MARINA BARAGE to support the performers. There an event organized by the PUB i think.
where's the BUM BOAT RIDE? >.< style="color: rgb(0, 0, 153);"> environment..
High class. But like still got the renovation smell~
They had this longlong and widewide and romantic pathway up to the rooftop. You get a panoramic view from there. Can see THE FLYER (not ferris wheel) in a distance. Look down, try to jump down, and you'll be shouting for help because u wont wanna be drowned in the sea. HAHA XD

Inside : On the 2nd floor, there's this super classy and futuristic gallery which appears to me like a maze, where each section has its own theme. There were some walls covered with or made up with recycled materials like millions of newspapers and thousands of plastic bottles. Cool!



2ndly, about the food.
yea, FOOD. They gave us packet food. There were bits of oysters and salmon, some cauliflower, 2 sticks of meat and butter rice? I find it ok. Thought it'd better with food at the buffet XD
So i had some pastries from the buffet only. Their cream puffs were juicy! lol.

(Steps to test REAL cream puffs:
ONE - chunk the whole of it into your mouth
TWO - bite it
THREE - feel the cream spurting out from the puff !)

I had their "cheng teng" also (: BEST!



3rdly, performances..

The only picture i took with my phone was this "refuse-to-talk" water droplet. LOL. It kept on shaking left and right.

TRIP TO EAST COAST PARK w part of SESAME ST GANG.
There were Elmo [Ai Ru] , Cookie Monster [Nick] , Big bird [Yan zong] , Ernie [me?] and.. what's Eugene?

Nick, Eugene and I met up first to go meet the rest. So, we were supposed to take taxi from BUGIS and meet all for lunch. But the food at bugis were just too tempting. haha! We had snacks and Pastamania! woo! nicenice. But ours pockets were quite burnt.. =x

OH ! By the way, i found the CUTE STUFF's location!
It's.. .. .. ACTION CITY!

I saw my K.E friend got the elmo cute stuff. lol. yea, so she told me (:
