Okay....here's to a fresh start with the 'ol blog in 2009. 18 days late, but that's okay (I know the date says January 10th, that's b/c I started writing this then....it's actually the 18th today). Better late than never. I do want to keep up with it much better than I have been. So, if anyone has been checking it (I have no idea if anyone really does??), I apologize for the sheer disappointment you felt each time you clicked. Maybe sheer disappointment is an overstatement, but nonetheless, I will try to keep up. Especially since Taylor is changing so quickly, and Jackson is at such a fun age.
There is no way I could recap the last couple months, in words or pictures. So, I won't even try. I'll share a few recent ones, and give a few notes about each kiddo.
JACKSON

Dinosaurs, trains.....and more dinosaurs and more trains. Those are the two things Jackson still loves the most right now. Santa brought him a "big dinosaur with sharp teeth" as per his Christmas request. He LOVES it. Who said you need an expensive toy - this has been a hit. He started gymnastics this month, and absolutely LOVES IT. And it's such a relaxing time for me - just to sit there for an hour and watch through the large windows. Taylor's been an angel the last two weeks also, which has been nice. Jackson's language skills increase by the day. His comprehension of the world around him, and his expression with words amazes me. I guess this is how 3-year-olds are, but never having had one...who knew they were so smart?? He's still tall and skinny - and still wears some 2T pants (though he's sort of waiting for the flood in them...) He's the best big brother - he is in awe of his little sister and has been since the day she was born. He's so sweet with her.
So speaking of....
TAYLOR

Little Miss turned 3 months on Friday - I can't believe it. She's growing so fast. I'm trying my best to cherish every "little baby" moment, even when she spits up all over me. That's not an exaggeration either......she is a SPITTER. Fortunately, she doesn't seem bothered by it, so that's good. After going through quite a little rough patch (maybe weeks 5 through 9'ish?) she is such a good baby now. She naps well during the day and sleeps well at night. I know...not fair...since Jackson was the same way. She doesn't sleep through the night every night, but when she does it's for about 10 hours! Otherwise, she wakes up once, which I'm okay with. She is all smiles now, and I think she giggled for the first time last night. She's also trying to roll over, and is always seems to be trying to lift herself out of her carseat or bouncy seat. I think she's going to be an active little one.
It's taken me forever to even write as much as I did...so I'm going to upload a couple pics and get this posted. I'll try to be better about it...I really will.
