Some of you may think that I fell off the face of the earth...I kind of did just that! My life took some major twists and turns since my last post in January! I met....fell in love...and married an amazing man! January through June was filled with lots of dates, work travel, engagement, wedding planning...and of course the actual wedding itself! Then it was off to our temporary living quarters (his house) in Claypool, AZ. Now we are settled in our home in Johnson Ranch (also known as Queen Creek or San Tan Valley). We love it here....and not only did I get married, but I inherited 3 children. My family went from 2 to 6! Oh, wait...7, we can't forget our little Gidget!
Stay tuned for a new blog ...as we are no longer the Jacklins-two....We are the Bradford Bunch!!! Enjoy some pictures of the last 10 months...and I'll let you know when the new blog is up!

Gidget The Midget
Dad said....no puppies in the new house...no dogs allowed. So....we've been pet-less since we moved out here (o.k. pet-less except the turtles which doesn't count).

I've wanted a Yorkie for quite some time. Actually before mom got diagnosed with cancer she was determined to talk my dad into letting us get one. Not sure why because she was allergic to dogs and cats and she wouldn't have held it anyway...but she and I both thought they were so cute.
Right around Christmas my Aunt decided that she wanted to get my Grandma a Yorkie for Christmas. I was assigned the task of finding one for sell and going and picking it out. I thought that would be fun..afterall..I love puppies. So the Monday before Christmas, Chace, Bryten and I headed to Apache Junction to a breeder's house. We looked at several males..not finding the one that was just right. The breeder went out and brought back a couple more but accidentally brought in a little female (which is what I wanted)....that's all it took..I was in love with that little thing. So...I was out in my car texting pictures to my Aunt so she could see the little males (wishing I could get the little girl)...when my dad called. He wanted to know if I'd found a little male for my Aunt. I told him that we were in the debating period but ...that there was a little female that was sooo cute and wanted to come home and live with him. He said NO....which I knew he would.
So it was back to figuring out which male to get for my Aunt and Grandma....I noticed that I had missed a call from my dad...odd...why was he calling back? I called him....
Dad - "Hey, do you even have the money to get the little female right now"
Me - "No, but I could always put a down payment..and pay in installments to the breeder"
Dad - "If you take care of her, you can get her".
Me - "Really?"
Dad - "I guess so".
So...I have my little angel Gidget. She has made life a little lighter around here. Bryten and I adore her and she is part of the family.
Oh...and don't let my dad fool you. He's completely attached to her too!
