mister maker on okto
as adele naps less n wants to be more like her brothers, she is a new addition to our craft sessions. (limited to those that are less messy)

secretly "painting" big brothers' mr silly donkey who was drying out his wet paint.
mr F is supposed to be spooky n scary. but their choice of colours make him a little girl-y instead?

1 minute craft -
floopy ear animal cards
mister maker gave lots of ideas for simple crafts the kids could do, some in a minute - which was fun n easy to make

happy birthdays
i've been away from this blog soooo long, it's now that the kids' birthdays are on-line. arrrgh.
this yr adele turns 2, jerome 6 & jerald 5.
this could well be the last yr i have at least a kid at home with me the whole day. adele starts playgroup (nursery 1) next yr.
J n i sort of decided last yr was the last time we're going to have big bashes (adele's 1st birthday). birthdays now will be small affairs, just in school, with grandparents & godparents.
jerome had 1st mth, 1st & 2nd birthdays in a big scale
jerald had 1st mth & 3rd birthday (his 1st & 2nd birthdays were spent in US)
adele had a 1st birthday
sigh, all kids are different. & so are energy levels of parents...

7 feet
Our Christmas tree in US was a whooping 1 foot tall. It was not too bad, considering the fact that it was an optic fibre tree which we decorated with red apples. Jerald would pick apples from the trees every other day. =) Oh well, there were only so many things we could do in winter at home.
J decided that our Ikea tree wasn't much of a tree. It had no points, was like a "dress" that we would "drop" from the top & it unfolded itself. The boys enjoyed "dressing" it up. For the 1st time in our life, our tree could actually be fully dressed.
Alpha would tear open presents under our tree, push the tree over, chase baubles around the house, pull ornaments from the lower branches, shred a whole box of tissue so we could have a white christmas. Our "xiao bai" was such a white bundle of mischief.
