Christmas Party

My family's Christmas party was on the 22nd of December. We had a program. Emmy and Addy played their violins and TJ played his guitar and then Addy played the piano.
Wacey and Jenny had a sonogram earlier that day so Tommy put together a little game to let us know what they were having. He filled balloons with either pink or blue confetti and then he let the kids throw darts at the balloons. They are having a boy!
We had a pinata and played lots of fun games. Tommy had made us all benches that were gorgeous and we each got to pick one.
I made a Hancock Spot it Game with the faces of everyone in my family and so we had a Spot-It tournament. I think everyone enjoyed it. Wyatt ended up winning the tournament.
And then Grammy and Papa gave all the kids gifts. They all got pajamas and a toy. Rook got dump trucks, Evie got a doll and a horse, Addy got a Barbie, TJ got an erector set and Emmy got a goat - which she loved.
I love going home to Taylor. It always makes me feel grounded and like I know who I am and where I belong.

Art

One of Emmy's art pieces got selected to be on display at the Education office during December and January. I think there were only 5 in her whole school that got selected so she was pretty excited about that.

Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium

I got to go on Emmy's field trip with her to Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium.
Emmy is on this huge goat kick right now. The people that live next to her violin teacher have goats and so she is obsessed with them. So to say she was in heaven at the petting zoo is an understatement.
This llama was so adorable. He was really furry.
This little guy was her favorite. She would have taken it home in a heartbeat if she could have.
They also had a fun seal show that was pretty cool.
Our group was Emmy, Abby, and Ivy.
I had a fun day with these 3 girls. They were all very sweet and easy to get along with.

Guitar Recital

TJ has only been playing the guitar since August. I am amazed at how well he is doing. He is already playing most of the notes by feel instead of by sight. He can play songs without hardly ever looking at his hands. It amazes me. He had his first recital on the 15th. They played their solos and then had a little sing-a-long. He played Joy to the World for his solo and did a great job.
