Who let the dog's out???

Veteran's Day we went to the park with Jamie's family to celebrate some birthdays. While we were there Emmy was playing with a little girl who asked Emmy if she wanted to pet her dog. Emmy said sure. The Aunt was right there holding the dog and everything, but when Emmy went to pet it, it bit her arm pretty good. It was a German Shepherd and was pretty big. We weren't over there so I just see Emmy come racing across the play ground with blood on her arm. So we got to spend a couple of hours in urgent care. They put 3 stitches on the bottom and one on the top. She was such a trooper though and never really cried once the initial shock was over.

Time Out For Women....

For my mom's birthday I got both of us tickets to Time Out for Women. I had never been before and to be honest I wasn't overly excited about going. But I absolutely loved it. It was so good!!! I cried, and laughed, and cried some more and most importantly felt the spirit and filled my well.

Look Who's 2

The kids each made Evie a crown for her birthday. So here they are modeling them. Each one of them love her so much.

Opening presents.

Evie LOVES books. Her favorite book is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?" So I made her a book with her blankie on it and it is called "Yellow Blankie, Yellow Blankie, What do you see?"

I don't let my kids sleep with pillows or real blankets until they are 2. So I made her a blanket and pillow case for her birthday.

Evie is such a cute girl with a really fun personality. She thinks that she is every bit as big as the other kids and wants to be doing exactly what they are doing. She is definitely a daddy's girl and has him wrapped around her finger. Happy Birthday Evie!!! We love you.

Car Show

Yesterday was Jamie's car show at work. So we got to go see his car and then went to the park to have a picnic. This car was the kids favorite. It was painted with chalkboard paint so the kids got to draw on it.

Halloween Dinner

I decided I wanted to make a Halloween dinner for the kids. I don't know how thrilled Jamie was with it, but the kids loved it. We had spider webs, lips, mummy dogs, chips and brains

Fall Break

Our fall break was from the 7-11th of October. Jamie took Monday and Tuesday off work and hung out with us. We went and saw Turbo and went bowling with the Dreschers and Nana and Poppy.

Then Wednesday we headed to Taylor for a few days to see Grammy and Papa and hang out with cousins.

And then Saturday we went to the cabin and stayed until Sunday. So it was a busy week but it was nice to get a break from the schedule and just have fun
