The Spirit of God

TJ and Emmett played a cello duet at church on Sunday. They waited until the last minute to pick something and it still sounded amazing!! This is a picture from their State orchestra festival. These boys make me laugh.

Mad Hatter

Evie’s drama club put on a little production of Alice in Wonderland and she got to play the Mad Hatter. She did a fabulous job and it was fun to watch.

District Battle of the Books

Evie’s battle of the books team won first at their school so they got to go to district. Even though she didn’t win, I was super proud of her for working hard and reading a lot.

CVIPE Championships

Emmy had her CVIPE championships Saturday. They did amazing!!! They were scholastic A silver medalists which is the best they had finished in several years. I'm so proud of how hard Emmy works to accomplish her goals!

Pats Run

In January I told Rook that he was the only one of my kids that hadn’t run Pats Run with me and asked him if he wanted to. He said yes. That first day we ran a quarter of a mile and he thought he was going to die. We’ve been running 2-3 times a week since then. He was so nervous last night and this morning. He kept saying he didn’t think he could do it. He killed it!!!! 4.2 miles. We had just got started when we ran by the men in fatigues and Rook started up a conversation with them. My favorite picture of the day. When we got finished he said, "Thank you for making me do this." He has told me several times since then that he can't believe he actually did it. I hope he remembers that he is capable of hard things because he totally is!!!I love this race and all it stands for! So grateful to be able to run it with my favorite 11 year-old!!!

Twins

Evie was so sad when Claira moved. She was really excited that she came and hung out this week when she was back in town. Wyatt's family was in town and Riggin walked upstairs and saw them and said, "there's two of them." They really do look like they could be sisters. Evie cracked me up. When Claira walked in she said, "Your hair is so red."

The Campo Way

Addy got an invitation to Campo’s Copper Coyote Awards. We weren’t sure which award she was going to get. She ended up getting the Campo Way Award which is given to one girl and boy from each grade. She is amazing and we were proud of her. She works really hard at school, at music and sports.
