Easter

It seemed like Easter came way too early this year. Evie made sure we dyed eggs. We opened baskets in shifts this year because some kids were still sleepy:)

Salt River

Since Wacey and Jenny were in town we took the chance to try out my new paddle board. It was a little bit windy, but we had a fun time.

Aunts

I went and spent a couple of hours with my aunts for Aunt Pam's birthday. It is always good to visit with them.

CVIPE

While TJ and Addy have been busy with volleyball, Emmy has been doing indoor percussion. They keep getting better and better and got the best score in 10 years at their home show last weekend. It is fun to watch her doing what she loves.

Volleyball

We are in the middle of volleyball season. Addy was trying to decide between playing softball or track and ended up playing beach volleyball. She had never played before but picked it up quickly and has been doing awesome!! TJ is playing boys volleyball. He has been playing a right side hitter and has been playing awesome!

Youth Temple Trip

We started Rook's birthday with a trip to the temple. All of my kids were there besides Rook. TJ got to baptize Evie. It is always good to be in the temple but to be there with 4 of my kids was a sweet experience for me.

Rook turned 11 Saturday. The young women and young men had a temple trip at 5 am so while we were gone Jamie took him to get donuts for breakfast. When we got home he opened his presents. He had asked for a Rocket Lego set from Guardians of the Galaxy. Evie bought him a little Captain Americas stuffed animal which he loved. He got lots of Vbucks from his friends, money from his grandparents and Chad and Lamoreauxs. Then he invited a few of his friends over for a little party and swimming. He wanted a Doritos taco from Taco Bell for dinner and a Captain America cake. He told me that this was one of his best days ever. So I think he had a good day. Rook is such a fun kid. He has never met a stranger he didn’t know and he loves life. He is a creator and builder and we love him!!!

Hieroglyphics Trail

Evie  wanted to go on a hike during fall break so we went to Hieroglyphics Trail. It was a little warm, but we had a good time. Evie really loved getting her picture taken.
