It's a Dry Heat....

The weather the last month has just been miserable to me. I feel like I am suffocating. It doesn't matter how early I get up to run, it is always hot. So we have been trying to stay cool. We have went to this water park twice. It is our favorite. It is only a $1 for the kids to get in and they have lots of fun stuff. The first time Wyatt and his family got to come with us and the second time dad got to come with us - both good company:)
Evie loved this slide.

The Cabin

Jamie had to help teach the radio merit badge at scout camp. Since scout camp was only about 15 miles from his parents cabin, we took the kids and made a weekend of it. While I was up there I ran my 14 mile long run. It was SOOOO hard. I train at about 1200 feet. The cabin is at almost 7,000 feet. I train on flat ground, The area around the cabin is all hills. I was really slow and had to walk about .15 hundredths of a mile up the last big hill, but I was glad to get it done. I had bought TJ a new puzzle to do up there. It was 500 pieces and he did it in one afternoon. He loves puzzles and is awesome at them. We also took the kids to the creek while we were there. The rain stayed away long enough for us to enjoy lunch and get a little creek time.
This is Rook when he first got in. He was petrified. That is not a smile:) But after a little while and with the help of a big brother, he didn't want to get out.
Love these kiddos!!! Glad they are mine!
