Gilbert Temple Open House

Last Tuesday morning we got to take the kids to the open house for the Gilbert Temple. What a cool experience to get to be in the temple with all 5 of my kids. I hope and pray that it is not the last time that it happens on this earth. The spirit was so strong and the temple was absolutely gorgeous.

Emmy was star student in her class a couple of weeks ago so she got to bring home their class pet, PJ. The kids had a lot of fun with him.

Emmy's Birthday Part II

To celebrate Emmy's birthday with the Espersons we went to Peter Piper Pizza. The kids had a great time and the Espersons always spoil us.

Look Hooo's 7

Emmy turned 7 on the 7th. It was a kind of low key day. She started the day opening presents. Then she had school so I took her cupcakes to school.

She had a hard time deciding what kind of cake she wanted, but we finally settled on an owl one.

She chose Macayos for dinner. Wacey and Grandma got to go with us. (Papa was in Louisiana at a job interview.) The food was good but the service was SLOW so we had lots of time to take pictures. She loved when they came out and sang to her. She told me that was her favorite part.

And then home for a couple more presents from her brothers and sisters and cousins and then eating cake.

Emmy has so many wonderful qualities. She is such a sweet little girl. She is really smart and loves school. She works hard at it and loves to read. I can't believe in a year she will be baptized. Happy birthday Emmy! We love you!!!
