Autumn Fun in Taylor

My dad will turn 60 on Tuesday so we went to Taylor over the weekend and had a Halloween/Birthday party with all my brothers and their families. The kids all got to wear their costumes so they were pretty excited about that. With all the cousins.

And just in case you are wondering who Evie is supposed to be. I made her dress and it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself:)

We also had our annual Sherwood Super Saturday while we were up there. We didn't have as many people this year but we still had a good time. I didn't take any pictures while we were there, but here are a few of the crafts we made.

Snow White

Last Saturday I took Emmy, TJ, and Addy to see Snow White at Hale Theatre. I was a little worried about taking all 3 of them by myself but they were really good. We got to sit on the front row and so the cast interacted with us several times and they loved it. Emmy was the only one brave enough to have her picture taken with them, but we had a fun morning. This is us ready to go.

Anniversary Trip

Since we had meet the teacher night on our anniversary, we decided to get away during fall break and celebrate. We dropped the kids off at my parents and then headed to Jamie's parents cabin. We had a fun couple of days of hiking by Blue Ridge Reservoir, watching Jesse Stone, Burn Notice, and the Presidential Debate, drinking hot chocolate, and just getting to hang out. It was fun to have time with just Jamie without any kids.
