We went bowling with Jamie's family Thursday night. The kids had a lot of fun, so when Jamie got back we decided we would go with him for FHE and use a groupon that I had bought a couple of months ago.
Addy pouting.

Camp Raymond
Last Monday morning Jamie got a call that said his work needed him in El Paso by that night. So I called my mom to see what they were doing. They were having Camp Raymond, which is a camp they put on for all the grandkids every year. So I decided that I would take the kids and go up since Jamie was going to be gone all week. All the girls (except for Trysten) and TJ slept in the "treehouse." When I took this picture he was still saying he wanted to sleep inside, but he changed his mind. And all of the other boys and Trysten slept on the tramp.
Here they are eating breakfast the next morning. It takes a lot of pancakes to feed that many kids.
After breakfast, Papa took the older kids hiking in some caves. Emmy was the only one of my kids that was big enough to go. Her and Kaidan were the youngest ones there. The kids had a lot of fun and it was good for them to get to do something they usually miss out on.
While we were up there Evie got her first horse ride. She was so intrigued by the horses. I could hardly get her to look at me to take a picture. She was too busy taking it all in.

Father's Day
Our father's day was pretty low key. Our church starts at 8 so we waited until after church to open presents. The kids helped me make these cards for him. We got him a new hose, some new exercise clothes, and his annual favorite, the next season of Burn Notice. We usually get him something to go do with us, and we didn't this year.
Jamie is an amazing man and an icredible father. I am so grateful my kids have him as a dad. Happy Father's Day Jamie!

The Creek
When we went to Taylor last weekend, we let Emmy stay with my parents. So we had to go get her yesterday. We met them and Wacey at Tonto Creek and had a little picnic and then played in the creek for a little while.
After we got done at the creek, we stopped by the fish hatchery for a little while. The kids loved watching all the fish.

It was a fun day away from the heat.

Water Fun
With summer, comes trying to stay cool. We have already been to the splash pad a couple of times and are spending a lot of time in the pool. Here are some pictures from each.
7 Months
Evie turned 7 months on Wednesday. Can I just say that I LOVE her red hair, but I might be slightly prejudiced. She is such an awesome baby. The other day I put her on the floor to play while I was cleaning and the other kids were asleep. She played by herself for about an hour, then laid down and went to sleep without ever crying and then woke up again and started playing. She is a very social little girl and loves to have people talk to her and play with her. She weighed in at 16 pounds.

Our Happenings Lately
Emmy has been trying to help me out a lot. The other day she fed Evie for me, but it must have worn her out.
Friday night Stetson got baptized so we went to Taylor for the baptism. After the baptism, Tommy and Jeanette rented the pool. Cody invited us all over Saturday to cook out and play in the water. It was a pretty low key weekend of water, fun, and enjoying the outdoors without it being over 110 degrees.
