Be nice...

We started potty training Addy again. This is the third day. She is doing pretty good, but is definitely not perfect yet. We went to Barro's Pizza tonight and Addy had an accident. So I was sitting in the bathroom, trying to clean her up and I was kind of lecturing her about how she needed to go in the potty and not in her panties. She just looked at me and completely calm said, "Mom, be nice with me." It totally just melted my heart. She is so soft hearted and can't hardly stand for you to get upset with her.

Christmas

The kids woke up about 5:30 on Christmas. We had 8:00 am church. So the kids got to see what Santa brought them and look at their stockings before church and then we opened  presents after church. This is what they saw when they came downstairs.

I was kind of dreading having 8:00 church but church was so good and the spirit was so strong. I really enjoyed it. It was also kind  of nice to drag out Christmas and get to enjoy it a little longer. Here are a lot more pictures from Christmas Day.
Santa also left one gift outside. The kids were pretty excited about it.
Christmas afternoon we went over to Denise and Zane's and had yummy Mexican food, did a white elephant gift exchange, and had a great time. Here is a family picture from that day.
Addy also found a fun hiding place there.

Monday we went to Nana and Poppys and the kids got to open presents from them. They were spoiled, as usual.
Jamie got me a new laptop which I was excited about. He has replaced the hinges on mine twice and they need done again. But this was my favorite present this year. I am so happy she is part of our family.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we had a party at my parents house. We had a program that included reading the nativity by Jamie and Emmy and then Cody read part of the nativity with breaks for several songs sung by Wacey, Cody's girls, Trace and Taya and Dawn.
Then the kids played left, right center and the adults had a white elephant exchange. We ate lots of good food, had a fun time hanging out with cousins, got to open presents from Grammy and Papa and our Hancock cousins. Then we headed home to get ready for Christmas.
When we got home, the kids got to open their new pajamas and they all got to sleep in TJ's room with their new blankets that Grammy had made them for Christmas.

Pinata Party

The 23rd was our annual pinata party with the Hancocks.
Addy did not want to hit the pinata. I don't know if she was just feeling shy or if she didn't want to hurt the candy cane.
My grandma gets all of the great grandkids presents. They all loved their gifts.
Here is a picture of the great grandkids that were there.
 And the grandkids.
